    I bought an LG range/oven on February 24, 2024 (today is June 20, 2024). After 15 months of mild use and no accident, the range controls stay lit all the time and the oven light constantly turns on and off on its own. The oven is also staying warm 24 hours after being turned off. The appliance computer seems to have gone haywire and the oven light can be turned on by a slight pressure of the hand on either side of the appliance or on the cooktop or by a walking around the appliance. This is not normal behavior for a range/oven and after only 15 months, it shouldn’t be normal wear.

    My range is an LG that is not but should be on the recall list (LG Recalls Electric Ranges Due to Fire Hazard) I purchased the range at lowes in November 2024. I have had several incidents of accidental turning on the range by the slightest touch. I contacted LG they confirmed that my range was not on the recall list but sent me the sticker that gives you instructions on where to place the sticker, and how to use the Control Lock or Lock Out feature on their range. first of all the sticker is no good if you have activated the control lock and while you are sleeping or out of the house the power goes out even for a second, the control lock deactivates , there is no warning, the clock does not start flashing, no warning sounds, nothing. The last time this happened we almost had a fire.

    My stove turned on when my construction workers were around the device installing cabinets. It also happened to me today while I was putting away my dishes. I had an empty pot on the stove and that dial that inadvertently turned on almost caused a fire. The pot was almost destroyed because it got so hot. The products dials are designed so poorly that even when I have the kitchen lights all on I have to use a flashlight to make sure Im adjusting the stove controls correctly. I have inadvertently turned on the wrong one, which caused another pot to heat up extremely.

    I am reporting a serious safety hazard involving an LG electric range, model LREL6323S, purchased new in March 2025. The product was installed in a residential kitchen and used solely for typical household cooking by an adult user.

    Within days of installation, the ceramic glass cooktop began sparking, especially when multiple burners were used. Shortly after, the surface developed permanent discoloration and cracking, despite normal cleaning with manufacturer-recommended products. Most alarmingly, even small splashes of cooking oil from a frying pan would ignite instantly on contact with the cooktop surface, creating a severe fire risk during ordinary use.

    Due to the sparking and open flame hazard, the user immediately discontinued use of the range and purchased a temporary portable electric burner for safety.

    In addition to the cooktop hazard, the control panel is defective. The oven frequently fails to respond to commands such as “bake” or “broil” without multiple attempts. This creates confusion and potential overuse or overheating if the oven activates late or unexpectedly.

    Fortunately, no injuries occurred, but there was a clear risk of burns or kitchen fires, especially during oil-based cooking or when using multiple burners.

    This situation poses a serious safety concern. The range was used exactly as intended, by a capable adult in a clean, standard home kitchen, and the hazard appeared with regular, non-abusive use. The sparking and ignition risk could easily lead to fire or injury in another household.

    LG Range model LRE30757ST/00, serial number 803KMUZ00262, manufacture date March 2008. August of 2023 the left front burner was turned on a low temperature (setting 2) to reheat a food product. Several minutes later the pan was smoking and you could see that the burner was at full temperature but still reading 2 on the control panel. The pan was removed and an attempt was made to turn off the burner via the control panel, but the panel would not respond. It was necessary to turn off the main breaker. After a cool down period the breaker was re-engaged and the burner came on at full power. The range was taken out of service. It was later determined that the control board apparently had an issue. The board was changed out and everything was once again working properly. In October 2023 the problem repeated itself and the process began again. The control board was replaced and all was working. Since that time I seldom use this burner and only under constant supervision. I started investigating and found this recall notice. I contacted the LG contact information on this report and gave them a call. They were not helpful. I was told to try a hard reset and then tried several times to sell me an extended warranty. In my frustration I ended the call and for the most part gave up. I am confident the problem still exists. I cannot in good faith sell this range to anyone else because of the potential fire hazard.

    I own an LG Stove and I have found the stove top ON more times than I can count - if I had to estimate - at least a dozen times or more since we’ve owned it. At first I thought someone had left the stove on ?!? I just happened to hear there was a recall on LG ranges because they’ve caused house fires - NOW I put 2 and 2 together - Oh my goodness- it scares me to think it could come on and all they want to do is have you order a sticker to put on your stove or put a setting on. My stove IS on the recall list - I was never notified and I have my product registered on their website! AND all they want to do is give you a sticker to put on your stove, how does that help and who wants a sticker on the stove! On the sticker on their website there is a QR code - that is suppose to take you to a video of how to put on the control lock/lock out function. I scanned it and it only takes you to a product page where I tried to search but was unable to find a video. What happens when someone other than myself uses the range and forgets to lock it. A sticker and a setting does not keep my house from catching fire because LG made a faulty product! This is NOT GOOD!

    I am using an LTE 4815 electric stovetop range. I bought a fire resistant pasta board to store items on top of the stove for extra buffet food items and I use that board every day. It lays on top of the burners. The stovetop buttons to turn on the electric burners are not made with any stop-gap mechanism that keeps the buttons in the off position. If someone brushes against the buttons or a child comes up to the stove, they can turn on the stovetop cooking burners. I removed a jar from one of my cabinets in the kitchen adjacent to the stove burner buttons and indavertently and brushed against the button that turns on the cooktop. I did not realize at the time that the cooktop burner was on because the board was on top of the stove.

    Because the buttons do not lock about an hour after I turned on the burner, I started to smell smoke. The board was fire resistant so it did not ignite, but my home filled with black smoke from the heated board and my fire alarms turned on.

    I went to the website for LG to look up information on the stove and found that the stove had a recall because there have been many instances of fires starting for the reason that the burners can be turned on with no effort. I could have had a fire in my home.     I was sold a LG electric range in December 2024 that was delivered in January 2025. One day I was putting something in the microwave that is above the stove and suddenly I felt this very hot heat on my face. I looked down and the right eye on the stove was blazing ret hot. On another ocassion the left front eye turned on as I was walking by and the eye was red hot immedtiately. I eventually sent a complaint to LG and to Daniel Appliances in Columbus, Ga where I bought the range. When LG cont acted me, the lady on the phone told me a recall was on the range and she said “everybody knows aboout the recall”. I told her I did not know. When I bought the range at Daniel Applainces, it was on sale and nobody told me about the recall. The guy in the store showed me three ranges on a kiosk. The ranges were not in the store. LG has told me they will refund my money but I must first have the range removed so they asked me to see if Daniel Appliances will exchange the range. Daniel Appliances is requiring me to purchase another range before they take out the LG.

I have teenagers, they don’t always remember to press the lock button. I also am a foster parent and I view this range as a safety hazard to anyone who has young children. My teen wasn’t even using the product, she bumped a knob and turned on the stove. I have a fire resistant cover on the top of it, to limit the risk while I’m cooking and continuously bumping a knob and turning on a different burner.     We have been having difficulty with the ease of which our stove knobs turn on the burners. And have tried to be very aware of this while in the kitchen. However, while cleaning in the kitchen, my husband noticed a burning smell and realized that a drying rack that had been placed by the stove was smoldering. The “ultra heat” knob on the left hand side of our stove was on “HI” even though no one intentionally turned on the stovetop. This is not the first time that it has been accidentally turned on despite our awareness that it can turn on easily.

    “I bought a LG Range, model #LSEL6333F from Lowes and was delivered / installed mid-Jan 2025. Since I have been using the range (less than 60 days), I’ve been burned twice by the vent in the rear of the stovetop and once from the oven’s metal framework along the front of the range-top above the control knobs while having the “oven cleaning” function in operation and the large front burner on high setting. When I contacted LG Customer service online on 4 Mar 25, I was texted that they would get back to me within 24 to 48 hours. I could not find a customer service Phone number to LG on their website, but Lowes gave me the number to LG customer service (833-378-0003). On 6 Mar 25, I called the LG Customer Service number given to me by Lowes. On 7 Mar 25, I finally got a call from the LG Escalation TM to discuss my issue. LG Rep would only agree to schedule a service technician visit / inspection. They dispatched a service technician who admitted his inability to correct the hazardous operation of the stove. Instead he referred to the owners manual stating it would be hot during operation. LG would not authorize a return / exchange with since there was no repair required. LG accepts that the Self-Clean Oven feature is hazardous according to the owners manual. Nothing was mentioned about a LG recall on the range due to the front-mounted knobs on the ranges being easily activated by accidental contact by humans or pets, posing a fire hazard. This is validated by the Consumer Product Service Commission as of 6 Feb 25 citing 86 reports of unintentional activation involving more than 28 fires, 8 injuries, 3 pet deaths, and five fires caused extensive property damage totaling over $340,000. LGs recall solution is to provide a decal warning to owners/ users. Unacceptable for sub-par safety operation in my opinion. LG obviously produces a hazardous product and is evidently willing to let the Buyer beware. NO more LG products for me and I encourage others to not buy LG Products.”

    Lowes told me to contact LG. LG told me to contact Lowes. The tech and Escalation Team rep both told me to read the owner’s manual which stated that the oven door and frame would get hot and not to touch it during the self clean cycle. It did not state that it would burn flesh...like mine or a child’s. Nor did I have an owner’s manual until after the product was purchased and delivered. Otherwise, I would not have purchased it. It would appear that LG knew about the hazard but failed to protect the public or warn the public beforehand that the range would harm them.

    A suit has been filed in New Jersey Federal court a class action suit against LG on this and in para 97 cites that LG knew or should have known that the misrepresentations and omissions with the intent that consumers, including Plaintiff, would rely upon them (LG) when purchasing the Defective Product.

    I just bought an LG Stove MOdel #LREL6323D and maybe 6 months in the left front burner, when set to low, would stay on HIGH and NEVER SHUT OFF! I almost burned the food as I was prepping other items to add to the pan, thinking it was on LOW so no issues until I saw smoke! No injuries thank god, but called to open a service ticket. They came out and said it is a faulty switch int he knob that must have got stuck, so they replaced it. Burner worked fine, THEN the Front Right burner started doing the same thing!! Opened another service ticket, still under warranty, same tech came out and said same issue, chnaged the switch. Today, the original front left burner stuck AGAIN!! Opened a 3rd ticket since still under warranty but worry now that I am stuck with a faulty stove that must be watched at all times for fear of a fire or worse.

    As I know now. It’s not just my stove. LSE 4613 and 4611. SER# 705KMPF14152 Bought 2017 for my home remodel. I dam near had a HOUSE remodel and not just Kitchen. AS the contractor was moving through the kitchen. He bumped the stove. No worries. Until the fire alarm started and my security contractor call me. The items on the stove top were now on fire. This had happened more then 10 time. We never liked the stove again. At 12oo buck. What do you do. We have just last year put baby covers over the dials. Now is see a recall issued by consumers. I know I’m not alone. You people knew the problem years ago. As normal major manufactures. You didn’t care but did stop the design. Now i have the people behind me. A freaking sticker. It burns too you know.

    We have several LG appliances and the Slide in Stove is the most dangerous we have ever owned or seen. We had a fire and personal injury as a result of the stove top inadvertently turning on and causing a fire of the items on the stove top and the LG Studio Microwave mounted above the stove top. It does not take much to inadvertently bump or touch the front mounted knobs to unknowingly turn on the stove top causing a fire or personal injury. In our situation it was determined a guest went into the pantry and barely bump the stove and it had turned on unknowingly and the person retrieved the item from the panty and walked away, meanwhile the stove top had turned onto the high heat level and caused a fire, melted plastic of the underside of the LG Studio Microwave and filled the home with smoke and triggered fire alarms. When it was discovered, personal injury occurred from the burning and melting plastic extinguishing. The lockout is not a practical solution as guests or others are not accustomed to the requirement of locking or unlocking a stove/oven for normal operation. 99.9% of all oven and stovetops do not require a lock out procedure for normal operation; therefore, non-homeowners or Non LG appliance owners will not know to use a lock out procedure to use or lock out the oven/stove top. The knob location and functionality of device is very dangerous for fires and personal injury. A better solution is need than just a sticker which no one will read or understand as to why a lock/unlock process is needed in order to use the oven and ultimately it will lead to customer frustration and brand disappointment and or more sever personal injury and home fire damage. We still have the LG Slide in Oven/stove and the LG studio microwave with melted underside plastic if needed for inspection and validation.

    We bought a LG package range dishwasher and microwave last April 2024 about 3 months in the range started to malfunction where if you turn 1 of the burners on sporadically 1 of the other or all burners would come on burning anything that may be on top of the range a technician was sent out last November to troubleshoot and fix the issue the technician changed the control knobs twice the motherboard once and the wire harness for a total of 3 visit from November 2024-February 2025 the range since the last visit has still not been working properly and increases temp when on low to the highest level again burning everything we were told that we would receive a credit for $1318.00 to purchase a new range on the LG website and we call daily only to get told we would receive a call from the presidents department within 24-48 which has never happened we have yet to speak with anyone beside the customer service department they keep pushing us off with no answers

    As I was baking and not using the top range, i started to smell smoke. Then i realized I accidentally brushed up against one of the knobs and cut it on. I have cover to protect the glass and it was smoking about to catch on fire. No injuries just a burnt wooden board, smoked filled house, scared toddlers. We bought this range because of the safety feature where you are to push and turn to cut on. But this model all you need to do is hit very gently and its on. Called Customer service they told me to use the Control Lock on the range, but you cant use it if the oven is on. The guy wasnt listening to me.

    We purchased a LG 6.3 cu. ft. Smart Wi-Fi Enabled Electric Single Oven InstaView Range with Air Fry in Stainless Steel (LREL6325F) from Costco (P/No. MEz57157118) in 2024 (and have had it for about 1 year. I noticed that that burner acted funny before (all of a sudden it would heat up to hot although I had not touched the control dial) but that’s when I was making pancakes or sauteing something and those I easy to burn. I assumed it was something that I did. It was using the left front burner with the 3 ring burner sizes. It is labeled UltraHeat Power Boil but that function (according to the manual) is only supposed to work when you set it to “High.”) On this occasion, I was making stew which requires simmering for about 1.5 to 2 hours using the front left burner (which has the 3 rings). I had it on a low setting and it was simmering without any issues for about 1.5 hours. I would check on it every 10 minutes to stir it (using my [REDACTED] watch timer to remind me) and adding water as needed. I was also using the built in timer for the overall cooking time and came to stir it after 1.5 hours timer was up and realized the meat wasn’t tender enough and needed more time. So I stirred it and added 20 minutes on the stove timer without adjusting any of the temperature settings. As before I had my [REDACTED] watch timer set at 10 minute intervals. But before the 10 minutes were up, I heard violent bubbling and started to smell something was burning. Sure enough the pot with the strew was boiling violently and the bottom was burnt. It was still set on the low temperature setting (I took pictures). If I had not been in the kitchen checking on it regularly, who knows what would have happened. Luckily, my children weren’t home at that time. This experience confirmed for me that there is something wrong with the stove and is a fire hazard. Luckily, no one, but my burnt pot and ruined stew, got hurt. This stove is a major fire hazard. I saw on [REDACTED] that others have had the same issues with the Ultra Heat Power Boil burners. See here: [REDACTED] And that some LG Stove Ovens are also being recalled. I think this model should be looked at too. We have decided we won’t be using that burner because it is too risky.

    Early on, the consumer found that when she leaned over the range, she accidentally turned the burners on, and it happened multiple times.

    3/12/2024: A laptop was on a nearby counter and a few inches from the front right burner. She went outside and returned to find that the computer had caught fire. She extinguished it herself. She has experienced a few minor burns that she treated at home. I warned guest of the danger. In spi of this, a guest did accidently turn it on.

    She had to replace the laptop that caught fire, and it cost between $250 - $500.

    The consumer reported the matter to the manufacturer, and they told her to turn the “Child-Proof” locking feature on, to address the issue. This was re: a recall notice the resolution of which was to supply the consumer with a sticker reminder.

    The problem is only with the range top knobs, because the oven’s control is digital and on the back of the range.

    I have had at least 5 instances where my stovetop burners turned on without knowledge. First, when my rental first opened, my sister leaned up against my stove to set my microvate, and her stomach accidentally turned on the large burner and a rubber mat melted; then my brother leaned up against the other side, and again, the burner came on; then I had renters in my unit for two months, and I explained to them that we need to keep it in ‘lock’ position. They are elderly and did not remember to ALWAYS lock the stovetop, and towels burned that were sitting on the stovetop. This has happened several times, but they have just cleared off the top of the stovetop and are being more careful when being around the stove (handles in the front); then another guest, said the burners came on, but she did not know how it happened. This is a recall product and VERY dangerous for being a rental property. I cannot be held accountable if an incident burns down my condo, and takes other condos surrounding me down with a fire.

    I have an LG Range that is under an advisory, but the mitigation protocols are insufficient. Their warning notes to “keep children away from the range and check it before bed.” This is not acceptable. For me two incidents occured with this electric range. Once I had something on top of the range (food box) and the knob unknowingly turned on resulting in a fire. On another occasion I had a [REDACTED] dish on the stove top and again the range unknowingly turned on and caused the [REDACTED] dish to explode sending glass shooting everywhere. This range needs to be recalled. Current Safety recall is SAFETY RECALL (ID: [REDACTED]) but again it’s not a recall, it’s an advisory that tells me to keep kids away from the range.

    LG Stove knob turns on with minimal touch. I had left the kitchen for a couple of minutes. Was in an adjacent room, then as i returned towards the kitchen, i saw and smelled horrible smoke coming from the range top. Somehow the burner was inadvertently on, and our Corian cutting board was smoking horribly, melting, and adhering to the stovetop. Had to turn off knob and find some oven mitts (in a flash!) and then pull to get the cutting board to separate from the range top. Melted Corian remnants remained on stovetop. Had to rush the smoking cutting board outside onto the concrete. Came back in and stove was still smoking with melted Corian remnants. Must have brushed a knob a couple minutes earlier when i passed by the stove as i was leaving the kitchen. My wife said i was just careless, but then the same thing happened to her about 3 weeks later, where the range was suddenly on and she was in the kitchen, but didn’t recall having bumped or turned the oven knob on.

    For reasons undetermined at the time, the (bottom) drawer of my oven/range had become stuck. I was able to open it about 3 and remove a couple small items. I could see the few baking sheets that were in the drawer none of which appeared (of these or anything else I could see therein) appeared to be causing the drawer to be jammed. Subsequently (who would think of contacting a service technician/personnel to remedy this situation?), I pulled the stove out/forward and tipped it up/back to look underneath and, while probing with my left hand to find out what may have caused it to be stuck, I felt something sharp and instinctively yanked my hand away and the back of my hand hit another surface that was very sharp deeply lacerating the back of my hand (severing a tendon).

    Caller stated that he experienced similar problems as the recall#25-126. He stated that there was a minor incident with fire 12/24/24. The stove was off, and a hot pad was placed on the unit and someone accidently brushed against the knob which caught the pad on fire, the fire was contained immediately. Caller stated that he did not receive any communication from the company or the retailer about the recall.

    The manufacturer was contacted and notified of the incident. Caller stated that he was advised to use the control lock settings and that they would send stickers to put on the unit. Caller stated that if he had known about the control lock setting the incident would have never happen in the first place.

    Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) 4330 East West Highway Bethesda, MD 20814 Subject: Formal Complaint Against LG Electronics Hazardous Electric Range Recall and Insufficient Resolution Dear Consumer Product Safety Commission, I am filing this formal complaint regarding a severe safety hazard posed by LG Electronics recalled electric range models and their unacceptable response to the recall. The defective front-mounted control knobs on these stoves have led to accidental activation, creating a serious risk of fire, burns, and injury, yet LG has failed to offer a proper remedy for consumers. Incident Details & Injury I purchased an LG LSEL6331F | Serial Number 209MMYF0K946 electric range from Home Depot on 10/1/2022 and I have repeatedly experienced the dangerous accidental activation of the burners due to the excessively sensitive front-mounted knobs. Last summer, in July 2024 one of the burners turned on unexpectedly, which resulted in my friends cat suffering severe burns to its paws, requiring urgent veterinary treatment and medical expenses. I also sustain a serious burn on my left hand when the stove was inadvertently turned on when someone brushed up against the knobs. I have also experienced multiple other instances where burners were activated unintentionally, posing a serious fire hazard in my home. LG’s Inadequate Recall “Solution” Despite the serious documented risks, LG’s official recall remedy is wholly insufficient: LG is not offering repairs, refunds, or replacements. Instead, they are sending a warning label and advising consumers to use the “Lock Out” feature manually after each use. This fails to fix the underlying defect, shifts responsibility onto the consumer, and is an unacceptable excuse for a safety recall. Why Immediate Action is Needed: Given the number of documented fires and injuries associated with these models, I urge the CPSC to take stronger action against LG. Specifically: 1. Require LG to issue full replacements, refunds, or a proper repair solution for affected consumers. 2. Investigate LGs inadequate recall response and whether they are in violation of consumer protection laws. 3. Warn consumers that LGs recall fix does not eliminate the fire hazard, increasing their liability for future incidents. I am also filing a complaint with my State Attorney Generals Office and will be pursuing legal options if LG continues to avoid responsibility. Given the growing number of reports of fires, injuries, and property damage, I urge the CPSC to escalate this matter immediately before more people get hurt.     A one year owner of the LG stove that is being recalled. Unfortunately, we’ve had 3 small fires break out from the front knobs being activated without knowing. We have no pets and no kids in home, this is happening with grown adults accidently rubbing against it. I never thought to report it but it truly is frightening having this product in our home. I have photos of one of the incidents of when I was bringing groceries in the kitchen and had put some bags on the stove top and went back out to vehicle to get more bags. When I came back in my grocery bags were on fire and bags and food burned. Thankfully I came back in quickly - it would of been much worse. Unfortunate that this also resulted in me cracking the glass stove top - as I was putting the fire out with my [REDACTED] cup full of water, I dropped the stanley cup on glass top due getting a slight burn from a grocery bag and it cracked the stove top............... I have another incident when I had a wooden cutting board sitting on top of the stovetop to obviously cover the ugly cracked glass top and somehow the burner was slightly touched, in turn completely burning the wood cutting board. Lucky again, I caught it before anything else caught fire. Another incident on Christmas Eve, had my house full of family in celebration of Christmas, someone obviously rubbed the knob, and it turned on burning a plate that someone had set on stove top. This resulted in an almost Christmas disaster and set off smoke alarms, and airing the house out full of people. All events triggered smoke alarms and airing the house out. Being we just bought this in Dec 24, we are not in the market to buy another new one but am truly scared having this stove in our house. I can’t imagine having younger children or animals in the house with this oven.

    We have a LG range manufactured in Monterey Mexico in April of 2014. As I began to use it I felt the design was unsafe. If you went near the stove and happened to brush against the front knobs it was possible to to turn on burner without knowing it until you looked at it or felt heat.. Over the time we have had this range the burners being turned on inadvertently has happened numerous times. I have always thought it could be a hazard but told my husband we needed to be very careful and never leave the house without checking the front burner and oven buttons to be sure they are off. It happened the other day again. I was in the kitchen and all of a sudden one of the burners was red hot. I did not think I had even been near the stove but must of been. If I hadn’t been home it could have been a disaster. I really believe this model is also unsafe and could potentially cause fires and loss of life. My husband saw the recall and tough I do not see our model in the list I believe is it also a fire hazard. If you can give me any ideas how to prevent possible accidents I would really appreciate it.     We recently purchased a home, and all new LG appliances were installed including a range, dryer, washer, dishwasher, refrigerator, and microwave which were installed in October. All the appliances have had problems, and the dryer was replaced after multiple visits from LG service technicians and their outside service company. The dryer was delivered without the electric wire lock being installed which is a major fire violation and hazard. LG has refused to service the unit, which is a major issue. The range has had (3) visits for repairs including a new circuit board and we are still experiencing the same issue which includes all burners coming on when only one is activated as well as the surface burners coming on when the oven is turned on and the surface burner control knobs are in the off position. My wife burned her hand the other day due to this issue. The range model numbers are one of the ones listed on a consumer alert on February 7th, 2025 LG Model LSEL335F.

    Caller stated that the range was in use when there was an overwhelming burning odor that engulfed the home. She stopped using the cooktop immediately due to the incident. Caller stated that the unit has air fryer component, glass top wiring, coil insulation which has a manufacturer defect. It is not only the knobs that easily turns on. The electrician checked the unit and found that the wiring was exposed which should have been covered.

    (1/23/25) The range was removed and she purchased a different brand.

    The product, in the report: LG LDPH5554S Electric Range.Burner knobs turn on at the slightest touch. The burner lock system is not a solution. Not everyone entering the kitchen know how it functions, or that there is even a lock system in place. Major hazzard.

    The burners should not have been on, but one was. A family member had brushed against the stove but did not realize that her movement turned on the burner. I was reaching for a dish in the overhead cabinet and placed my right hand on top of the stove. I burned five fingers on my right hand. The burners have been accidentally turned on by different people numerous times. this is really a health hazzard.

    I was notified of a recall by Lowes for my Range. LG states it is not on the recall list. I have had 2 Fires on the Range top in August 2024. I also had a fire in the rear of the Range in October 2024, where the big black wire caught fire, the Range is not in working order. Been Waiting for a long time and the repair has been cancelled by them at least 14 times.

    LSEL6335D electric range. I removed something from the kitchen cabinet and did not realize the stove accidently turned on. I had left a pot on the stove and it caught on fire. No injuries but my pan was destroyed. Now that I am aware there is a recall, I understand how this happened.

    LG Stove LSEL6335FE. Bought in May of 2024 was delivered late June of 2024 worked great until October 20th 2024 then the front right burner was turning on when any other part of the stove top was turned on. I reported it under warranty to LG and waited until November 22nd 2024 for a repair. We then left for 6 weeks for Thanksgiving/Christmas Break and returned and the same issue started less than three weeks later. LG has deleted evidence of my first repair I am assuming so I can’t claim lemon laws for a refund/replacement. I fear they are going to string me along until my warranty expires in May and leave me high and dry with an unsafe faulty product.

    On Jan 3, 2025, I was using the LG range stove top. I was using the front left burner to stew vegetables. Once the vegetable began to boil on medium heat, I lowered the power to the lowest, 2. About 2 - 3 minutes later, my wife called, something is burning. I ran to the stove. The burner was on full blast. The pot was steaming. The contents and pot were burnt. The range was delivered by Lowes on 12/10/2024. The model is LRE6325F. Luckily, no injuries occurred. I turned off the burner and took the pot outside.
