Terms
The plain terms for using Hearth Record, which is run by Mouliqe. Last updated Oct 19, 2026.
Free
Everything on Hearth Record is free to read and use, and so is an account. They stay free.
What the record is, and isn’t
Hearth Record copies what regulators and agencies publish, puts it in plain words, and shows the source and date of every fact. It is only as complete and current as those sources, and it can be wrong where they are, or where we copy them wrongly. Check the agency’s own record, linked beside each fact, before you decide anything that matters.
A public record can’t certify that a place or a thing is safe, and nothing here says one is.
Your account
- Accounts are for people 18 and over, one person to an account.
- Keep access to your email address, Google or Apple account safe: whoever can sign in with them can sign in here.
- You can download what you saved, or delete your account, at any time, from your account page.
Alerts
Alert emails are a convenience. They can arrive late, or not at all, and the record on the site is always the reference.
Using it fairly
Please don’t overload the site, take it apart in bulk, or use sign-in to send email to people who didn’t ask for it. We may close an account used that way.
If things change
We may change or end a feature. If we ever close accounts, we will say so first and give you time to download what you saved. If these terms change, their date changes.
Hearth Record is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, Mouliqe isn’t liable for decisions made from it.
