The product, in the report: Electric range oven. Model LSE4613T.BSTLLGA . SERIAL 808KMGJ0Q095
Cooking burgers on my oven. When I opened the door to take them out the glass cracked all the way across and back again and slide down into the door. This is the third time this has happened. I have had LG replace the glass each time. The oven was purchased in 2018. I have read they have had numerous problems with the oven doors. I need my oven...it was $1200. and I am now afraid to replace just the glass in fear that it will happen again and someone will get injured

The product, in the report: LG Oven/Stovetop: Model: LSEL6335 Serial: 204KMFE0W179
I am contacting you regarding an LG electric range in my home that I have confirmed by model and serial number is included in Recall No. 25-126 concerning accidental activation of front-mounted knobs.
The range was already installed in my home when I purchased the property, so I was not the original purchaser and did not receive notice of the February 2025 recall.
On September 22, 2026, the exact hazard identified in the recall occurred in my home. During normal activity in my kitchen, one of the front-mounted knobs was apparently inadvertently bumped into the “on” position without anyone realizing it. I left the house, and approximately 45 minutes later contractors working in my home discovered that items on the cooktop had caught fire.
Fortunately, the fire was discovered and extinguished before it caused major damage to my home. It did, however, destroy several items on and around the range and leave a significant smoke/burned-rubber odor in the house, for which I purchased an air purifier and incurred other cleanup and replacement costs.

The product, in the report: This is an LG household electric range Model # LREL6325F/01 Product Code: LREL6325F . FR1LLGA Serial number: 404MMUM08782. It is black, a standard size electric range, with a blue interior oven. The electric ceramic stove top is black and is NOT induction.
My ceramic stove top overheated when it was on Low. It became bright red and glowed hotter than it glows on it’s highest setting. It’s an LG Electric Range Model LREL6325F /01 Product Code: LREL6325F . FR1LLGA Serial # 404MMUM08782. It was being used by me an 33 yo experienced home cook on Wed Sept 16, 2026 at [REDACTED] pm. The stove was being used to boil peas. I brought the peas to a boil, and then turned it down to low. Instead of cooling off, the burner proceeded to get hotter and hotter, until I turned it off. No injuries occured, but this is a fire hazard and burn hazard if I hadn’t noticed it quickly enough and if the pan had overheated. I live with my grandmother who is 88 years old and also uses this range frequently. I had second incident a few days later on 9/19/2026 with another burner. I was making applesauce from recently picked apples, and turned it down to low heat when it got hot enough. I left the stove to go upstairs for 5 minutes, and when I came back down, my grandmother said the applesauce was burning and the burner was way too hot. She turned it off. There were no injuries this time either, but it was again a fire and burn risk.

The product, in the report: LG 30-in Glass Top 5 burners 6.3-cu ft Air Fry Convection Oven Freestanding Electric Range with WipeClean Coating ( Stainless Steel ) Model #LREN6323YE
We had purchased a new range with a glass door. We have had the range for less than two months. We noticed the glass looked crackled, this was after using the stovetop but not the oven. We had not noticed any cracks or chips upon delivery. I opened the oven door to investigate and the entire outer glass door shattered, fell all over the floor and onto my feet. We did not drop, hit, bump or touch this oven door.

The product, in the report: Product Type: Electric Range / Oven Manufacturer/Brand: LG Model Name/Number: LG Electric Range (Model LREN6321 / LREN6321YE/VE) Serial Number: 606VMVU0R527 Product Description & Dimensions: Standard 30-inch freestanding electric range featuring a convection oven cavity, glass cooktop, and a glass-windowed oven door.
On September 5, 2026, I purchased a brand-new LG Electric Range (Model LREN6321 / LREN6321YE/VE, Serial Number 606VMVU0R527) online from Lowes. The appliance was delivered to my residence on September 7, 2026. Approximately four hours after delivery, I turned the oven on for its very first use on the Convection Bake setting to preheat. While the unit was preheating, the inner door glass underwent a catastrophic thermal failure and completely exploded without any physical impact or misuse. The explosion scattered thousands of sharp, shattered glass fragments throughout the interior oven cavity and surrounding area. This unexpected explosion poses a severe burn, laceration, and safety risk. The appliance currently remains in an unsafe, glass-filled condition in my kitchen while awaiting retailer resolution.

No incident, no one hurt Made Sep 4, 2026, sent to the company Sep 10, 2026, published by CPSC Sep 24, 2026
The product, in the report: 30 inch single electric LG Wall Oven model WSEP4727F stainless steel
On 8/26/26, I was making dinner and had baked potatoes and steak in the oven baking at 425 degrees. After approximately 20 minutes, my friend went to take the food out and said that the glass in the oven door cracked. I walked over and turned off the oven and saw two distinct fractures in the glass. One had shattered. I immediately took pictures and attempted to contact LG.com. I did not see any glass in the food but was concerned there might be chards of glass due to the glass being shattered at one point. I also attempted to contact CSPC but the site I went to was not active. I later called and left a message.
(09/15/2026) On September 14, 2026, LG’s Voice of Customer Presidential Liaison, [REDACTED], denied my request for replacement, stating: “The request for replacement has been denied. Since the unit can be serviced we will have to proceed with service.”
I previously offered LG an opportunity to inspect and document the oven. I have not authorized a repair or removal/disposal of the cracked or shattered glass. LG’s servicer indicated that replacement glass had been ordered before a meaningful root-cause inspection or written safety determination. I remain concerned that replacing the glass alone would not establish why the glass fractured and shattered during normal cooking at 425 degrees or whether the appliance would be safe afterward.

The product, in the report: Model: LG LTE4815ST Range, electric
My pet accidentally activated one of the front-mounted control knobs on the range when no one was home. The heating element became energized, and a smoldering fire occurred filling the house with smoke. Luckily someone came home right as the burning items on the stove were starting to ignite and turned off the oven. We were home the entire day and the oven/stovetop were not used. The smoke started within 15 minutes of us leaving the home as seen on camera. No one was in the home, except for the dogs. Thankfully the dogs had a doggie door and went outside when the fire alarm went off so there were no injuries but there was significant property damage. After the incident, I discovered my range is within the LG/CPSC recall concerning accidental activation of the front-mounted knobs by humans or pets. It appears my serial number is not included within the recall, however it is the same model and identical issue relating to the recall.

The product, in the report: You have an existing recall - # 25-126 (https://www.cpsc.gov/Recalls/2025/LG-Recalls-Electric-Ranges-Due-to-Fire-Hazard). I own this stove and ordered the sticker when the recall was initially announced. The sticker is NOT a remedy. I religiously ensure that the stove is locked. Tonight, my other half unintentionally brushed against one of the knobs and the burner came out - despite my having locked it this morning. I read that even minor power fluctuations and/or surges can cause glitches to the settings. The lock icon was not on when she brushed against the stove. Again, I set it this morning. Long story short, a small fire was started. Thankfully, there doesn’t seem to be any damage to the house besides some kitchen items.

The product, in the report: LG InstaView with Air Fry 30-in Glass Top 5 Burners 6.3-cu ft Self-Cleaning Convection Oven Slide-in Electric Range (Printproof Stainless Steel)
I am reporting a serious safety malfunction with my LG electric range, model LSEL6335F, manufactured October 2022. The unit is exhibiting hazardous electrical behavior involving the front-left Ultra Heat burner:
The front-left Ultra Heat burner activates whenever any other burner is turned on, even if its own control knob is in the OFF position.
When the front-left Ultra Heat burner is turned on by itself, it immediately goes to maximum heat and cannot be adjusted or regulated.
These conditions create a risk of overheating and potential fire.
Due to the severity of these failures, I have unplugged the appliance and am not using the range until it can be inspected. The malfunction is reproducible and presents a clear safety hazard.

The front burners on LG electric range Model LDEL7324SE do not have a low temperature setting. The burners are extremely high, regardless of the setting. This has nearly caused a fire in my house as cookware becomes dangerously hot. I have had cookware smoking and burned while the stove was on low. This is a very common complaint that I have read about. There is an overwhelming number of complaints about this problem.

The inner glass door of a 5-month-old LG electric range exploded during a self-clean cycle, scattering sharp glass fragments inside the kitchen and creating a severe active safety hazard.
Case #[REDACTED]was opened with LG on August 6th, 2026. However, LG has completely neglected this dangerous situation for nearly two weeks across all communication channels (ignored emails to Customer Support, ignored messages to the Office of the President, and automated calls that ring twice and hang up). Leaving an exploded appliance with shattered glass unresolved in a home is an unacceptable safety risk.

Incident Date: August 15, 2026
Description: While preheating the oven, we noticed smoke coming from behind the range. Upon pulling the range away from the wall, we found the internal power wiring at the rear terminal block actively on fire. We immediately unplugged the unit from the wall outlet and extinguished the flames with water. The range was manufactured in August 2025 and had been in use for only a few months. No injuries occurred. The wall outlet and surrounding wiring were inspected and showed no visible damage, the fire appears to have originated internally within the range’s terminal block connection. Photos of the damage are available. The incident has been reported to LG (manufacturer) by phone, no case number has been issued as of this report.

The product, in the report: The product suffers from a severe mechanical design defect in the front-mounted burner knobs. The knobs require almost no inward force to depress and lack sufficient rotational resistance. Because of this loose, hair-trigger mechanism, the slightest physical contact, such as brushing past the stove, leaning against the control panel, or a pet stepping near it, easily engages and turns on the burners without the user’s knowledge.A properly designed appliance requires a deliberate, multi-step physical action (a firm push-in followed by a heavy turn) to activate. This unit’s hardware lacks these industry-standard mechanical safeguards. The ease with which these physical switches can be bypassed by accidental friction makes the appliance inherently defective, unpredictable, and a constant fire hazard in a standard household environment. The unit cannot be operated safely in its current physical configuration.

The repair occurred on January 22, 2026. It has again failed and the display will show locked, the top burners will activate, but the oven will not function. LG had issued a product safety warning that the burners could be accidentally activated and to use the lock feature when not in use. This could lead to a dangerous fire.

The product, in the report: Manufacturer: LG Electronics Product: Electric range Model number: LSEL6330FE Serial number: 602MMFU0H763
I am reporting a potential product safety hazard involving an LG electric range that resulted in an actual fire.
Product information: Manufacturer: LG Electronics Product: Electric range Model number: LSEL6330FE Serial number: 602MMFU0H763 Installation date: May 22, 2026
On July 26, 2026, the front-right burner knob was accidentally moved from the OFF position to HIGH. There was only a silicone stove cover on the cooktop at the time. The burner immediately heated the cover, causing it to ignite. Flames rose nearly to the ceiling. Fortunately, we were able to extinguish the fire before it spread, but there was damage and this could have resulted in a serious house fire.
My concern is that the burner controls appear susceptible to unintended activation. Within four days, three different people accidentally bumped the same front-right burner knob and turned it on unintentionally. One of those accidental activations resulted in a fire.
I understand this model is not currently included in a recall. However, after experiencing an actual fire and multiple accidental activations, I believe this presents a potential safety hazard that should be investigated.
The range did not have the optional plastic knob locks installed when I purchased the home. However, my concern is not simply the absence of the locksit is that ordinary contact with the knob can move the burner from OFF to HIGH without intentional operation. A safety feature that depends entirely on consumers installing additional locks may not adequately address the risk of accidental activation.
I am requesting that CPSC investigate whether this models burner controls create an unreasonable risk of unintended activation and fire.
I can provide photographs of the damage, the burned silicone cover, and any additional information needed.

The product, in the report: This is a new LG slide in smooth top electric range, it is a stainless steel faced, smooth glass burner top with large control knobs on the top of the front vertical face. It is a 30” wide x standard 24” counter depth.
We purchased a new LG kitchen package that included an electric smooth top slide in range and an over the range microwave unit. while installing the over the range microwave I placed some foam packaging strips on the stove top to rest the microwave on. The wife was helping to lower the old unit down and while leaning against the new LG stove was somehow able to turn on a back burner which started to melt the foam. We cleaned up the small mess that came with the melted foam and let the burner completely cool. The stove top was then protected with a quilted moving blanket to prevent any damage from resting the new microwave on it as we got ready to lift it in to place. The same ting happened again, the wife, she is 5’2”, was leaning against the burner control knobs on the front of the range and was somehow able to turn on a burner again. This time the blanket caught fire, she pulled from the range top onto the floor and stamped out the small flames. The main floor of the house filled with smoke but no one was injured.

LG Range, Model number LDE4415ST My range has been unknowingly turned on by brushing past the front mounted knobs. They are easily moved to the on position. On Saturday, it happened and I had a wooden tray on the stove as I was not cooking that day. I did not know the ring turned on when I opened the microwave above it. Moments later, I saw that smoke was billowing from the bottom of the wooden tray. This type of accidental knob movement has occurred more than 25 times in the 20 years I’ve owned the range. It nearly caused a fire. I often turn the knob without knowing when I reach my over the stove microwave.

The product, in the report: LG electric range
On July 4, 2026, I placed a plastic microwave splatter lid on top of my LG electric range (Model LSE4611ST). I leaned over the cooktop to use the over-the-range microwave above it, and in doing so my body contacted one of the front-mounted control knobs, turning it roughly a quarter-inch enough to activate the burner. I did not realize it had turned on. I left the kitchen, and shortly after noticed a strong smell: the plastic lid had melted on the activated burner and filled my home with smoke.
No one was injured and there was no property damage, but a burner ignited unattended from accidental knob contact the exact hazard described in LGs February 2025 recall of these ranges (CPSC Recall). The knobs turn with very little force and no resistance, so ordinary contact while reaching over the range is enough to switch a burner on. My range is a recalled model.

The product, in the report: LG 30 in. 6.3 cu. ft. Smart Wi-Fi Enabled Fan Convection Electric Range Oven with AirFry and EasyClean in. Stainless Steel, Model Number LREL6323S
My LG electric range, model number LREL6323S, has a burner that repeatedly overheats while I am cooking food on it. While an electric cooktop, burner should cycle on and off depending on the setting level, this one will occasionally and unexpectedly cycle on and remain on indefinitely. This has ruined many food items and a few pots and pans. However, on one occasion it overheated a pan of oil, which began smoking so much that it was apparent that it would soon catch fire. It was serviced once under warranty, but that did not solve the problem. During my research into the problem, I observed on several platforms that many consumers are reporting the very same problem with LG ranges and I learned that the issue is caused by a faulty element control switch (part number EBF62174907), which was what was replaced during the warranty service mentioned above. While I searched multiple appliance parts sites, I noticed that many of them listed that part as the most commonly purchased part for LG electric ranges. Clearly, this range model and any other model that uses this control part is a fire hazard. The approximate occurrence date I am providing is just the first of several (hundreds) of occurrences. The most recent incident was on 06/26/2026.

The product, in the report: LG 7.3 cu ft Electric Double Range (Model LTW4815ST)
Product Type: Electric Range / Stove Brand: LG Model: LTE4815ST Serial Number: 005KMFEOM299# Date Purchased: December 1, 2020 Description of the Hazard The LG 7.3 cu ft Electric Double Range (Model LTE4815ST) presents a serious and ongoing fire hazard due to extremely sensitive burner knobs. The burners turn on with the slightest accidental contact, including: Brushing against the knobs while walking by Leaning over the stove to reach cabinets Carrying groceries past the stove Cooking and accidentally bumping the knobs, which changes the heat level without noticing Cleaning the stove surface The knobs require almost no pressure to activate or change burner settings. There is no safety lock, no resistance, and no audible alert when a burner turns on or changes temperature. This has resulted in multiple dangerous incidents, including an actual fire.
Documented Fire & NearFire Incidents 1. Cookbook Fire (Actual Fire Event) One of my cookbooks caught on fire after a burner turned on when the knob was accidentally bumped. I still have the burned cookbook as physical evidence. This was not a minor incident the burner ignited the book, and I had to extinguish it immediately to prevent the fire from spreading.
2. Grocery Bag Melting Incident While carrying groceries into the kitchen, my son brushed against one of the knobs. The burner turned on instantly, and the plastic grocery bag began melting. We only caught it because we smelled the melting plastic and turned the burner off quickly. This could have easily escalated into a fire.
3. Cooking Temperature Changes Without Touching the Burner While cooking, simply moving around the kitchen or reaching over the stove has caused the knobs to turn up or down unintentionally. This has caused:
Food to burn because the burner turned up
Food to undercook because the burner turned down
Pots and pans to overheat unexpectedly
This is extremely dangerous and unpredictable.
4. Burners Turning On During Cleaning Light contact during cleaning has turned burners on without my knowledge. I only noticed because the surface became hot.
Injuries or Property Damage Actual fire: Cookbook ignited
Property damage: Burned cookbook, melted grocery bag
Multiple nearfire incidents
Emotional distress: Fear of using the stove, anxiety about accidental activation
No physical injuries yet, but the risk is extremely high.
Attempts to Resolve the Issue I filed a complaint with [REDACTED] twice and have been rejected by LG. I was repeatedly redirected, received no meaningful assistance, and was left emotionally distraught. LG did not offer:
A repair
A replacement
A safety modification
A technician visit
Any acknowledgment of the hazard
LGs refusal to address a known safety issue increases the urgency of reporting this to the CPSC.
Why This Product Is Unsafe This range is unsafe because:
Burners activate too easily
There is no safety lock
There is no resistance in the knobs
There is no warning when a burner turns on
Accidental activation is predictable and repeatable
The hazard occurs during normal household movement
The product has already caused a real fire
This is a foreseeable and dangerous design flaw.
Why I Am Reporting This to the CPSC I am filing this report because:
This product poses a fire hazard
It has already caused a documented fire
LG has refused to provide a remedy
Other consumers may be at risk
This design flaw could cause serious injury, property damage, or a house fire
I am requesting that the CPSC investigate this model for safety defects and take appropriate action to protect consumers.

One of the range switch is not working. It let the burner on when on off pisition. We are using burner controls to keep it from turning on but it is not safe. Reported to LG for recall but I was told that it is nkt covered due to serial number. But it is the same safety hazard that is happening to other models.

The product, in the report: Electric range
(06/03/2026) The consumer is aware of the recall. However, she stated that the lock feature does not work properly if there is a power outage. Also, it does not work when the stove is in use.
(07/30/2026) The risk of harm when a stove can turn on without intent is that it can start a fire or burn someone or something. The control knobs are in the front of the stove and are about 3 feet from the floor. If the oven or stove is being used, the locking mechanism is disingaged and allows the stove and oven to easily and accidentally be turned on. It is extremely dangerous for people with kids, pets, hearing and or visually impared. The risk of fire and burns is extreme.
In case you wanted/needed an idea for a solution.... A good solution would be to provide safety knobs, like the ones used for door handles for childrens safety.

Thermal Runaway on Recalled LG Range LSEL6333F (Serial 206MMK******)
My LG Smart Slide-in Range (Manufactured June 2022) is currently listed under CPSC Recall 25-126 for fire hazards. However, the unit is experiencing a secondary safety failure that the “Sticker Remedy” does not address.
Two front burners (high-output zones) have suffered a total loss of thermal control. Within a couple of weeks of the left front burner failing, the right front burner failed identically. When set to “Low” or “Medium,” the burners fail to cycle and remain at 100% intensity (Red Hot) indefinitely. This unregulated thermal runaway creates an immediate fire hazard and risk of the ceramic glass cooktop shattering. Because the burners shut off at the “Off” position but remain at maximum heat in all other settings, it is clear that the internal infinite switches/relays have suffered mechanical failure. I am reporting this because providing a “warning sticker” is a physically insufficient remedy for a failing high-voltage electrical component.

The product, in the report: The product is an LG electric range, model LTEL7337F. It is a full-size kitchen appliance in stainless steel finish with a smooth cooktop and front-mounted control knobs used to operate the burners and oven functions. The control knobs are located on the front upper panel of the range. The appliance is installed in a standard residential kitchen and is used for everyday cooking, including boiling, frying, baking, and general meal preparation. The issue involves the front control knobs, which can be unintentionally activated from incidental body contact during normal movement in the kitchen.
I am reporting a safety concern involving an LG electric range, model LTEL7337F.
The product involved is an electric kitchen range with front-mounted burner control knobs. During normal household kitchen use, the knobs can be unintentionally activated from incidental body contact. Simply brushing against a knob while standing near the appliance or moving in front of it may energize a burner without intentional operation.
The range is being used in a normal residential household environment by adults performing ordinary kitchen activities. The issue occurs during normal movement around the appliance and does not require intentional force or misuse.
My concern is that the burners may activate without the user realizing it, creating a potential fire and burn hazard. Although no physical injury or fire has occurred yet, there is a significant risk of injury, burns, or property damage if accidental activation occurs unnoticed or if combustible materials are nearby.
I contacted LG Electronics regarding this concern and was informed that the warning sticker and Control Lock feature are the only remedies currently available. However, these measures do not physically prevent accidental activation of the knobs and rely on user behavior and memory rather than a mechanical safety solution.
Because the issue can occur during ordinary household use from incidental body contact, I believe the product presents an ongoing safety hazard.

We bought an Electric LG range from Costco, and it had two problems: one was that if you brushed up against the knobs, the burner would come on, and the second was that if you turned on one burner, another would come on. LG sent a repairman to fix the knob and the burner problem, then the same problem with the burners started to happen again, turn on one burner, then a second one would come on. They wanted to send a repairman, but we told them we don’t trust the range, and it is dangerous, they agreed to refund our money. Then they quit talking to us and won’t communicate with us. We call them, and they say someone will call, no one does. We write them, and no one answers. We have a dangerous range, I am sure other ranges they have sold do the same thing. The first time it happened, a towel started burning because we were unaware that the second burner had come on.

The product, in the report: LG Electric double oven with flat stovetop (knobs in front). Placing the knobs on the front of the oven is a design decision (since the stovetop is flat). Instead of being more horizontal, the knobs are almost vertical. Due to this, when the knob is bumped, the stove top can be activated.
A person accidentally bumped the knob and activated the top on my LG double oven stove (model: LTE4815ST) . Some items were resting on the stovetop when it was bumped. The items on the stove top caught on fire a few minutes later. The knobs on these LG stoves pose a fire hazard.

The product, in the report: 30” LG Range
In July of 2024 I purchased an LG range. The oven never pre-heated properly. Sometimes it was too hot and sometimes it was too cold. LG came to my home in July of 2025 and changed parts then left without testing the parts. They said that was my job. It sill doesn’t heat properly. In Feb 2026, a burner would not turn off. I was all set to pull the range away from the wall to unplug it, but gave it another try, and it turned off. In April 2026, one knob turned on two burners. However, in April it happened several times again, but it is inconsistent. Somedays a burner won’t shut off, somedays 2 burners come on at once with one knob. I called LG because it is a fire hazard when a burner won’t go off. They sent a technician today, May 7th, 2026. He re-recalibrated the oven and checked all the burners. Today, they worked so he left. I don’t know what to do. Although all the burners shut off this time, it is still dangerous for a burner to not shut off or to cook over 1 burner with another burner on that isn’t being used.

It has 2 knobs on each side for the 4 burners on top and w middle knob for the oven. It was a silver finish. Copied from the manual these are the dimensions, 29 27/32” (W) x 37 1/4”(H) x 29 7/32” (D) (D with door closed and including door handle)
This is not the first time Ive noticed the stove been turned on and having to turn it back off. The front knob of the stove was turned on after leaning against it to prepare a bag to take out with me. I noticed the oven had turned out and turned it back off approximately 15 minutes before I left my apartment. I received a call around 35-40 minutes later that the fire alarm in my apartment was going off. The knob had been turned on again accidentally and caused a severe apartment fire with the consequence of displacing not only me but around 9 others due to the sprinklers in my unit flooding other units. I also had two cats inside and had to take them to an emergency vet because of all the smoke

The product, in the report: LG Household Electric Range Model LRE4213ST 00 Product Code: FE1773LS.ASTLLGA
We purchased an LG electric range and almost immediately experienced how easy it is for a burned to be bumped into and turned on. We reported the issue to LG and they replaced the knobs that was supposed to make it harder to accidentally turn on and installed a new control panel that added an audible beep with a burner was turned on. While the audible beep made it easier to notice when we accidentally turned on a burner it doesn’t address the underlying issue that the burners are easily accidentally turned on. In a noisy environment the audible beep may not be heard. Our cat has managed to turn on a burner when he jumped up on the counter. Fortunately we were home and heard the audible beep. What could have happened if we weren’t home? We heard LG recalled several electric ranges for this specific issue....burners being accidentally turned on. Our range is not included in the list of affected models. I contacted LG and they were not interested in adding additional models to the recall or even investigating my model. My LG electric range model is LRE4213ST /00. I understand the recall is a warning sticker to lock the range controls when not in use. I find that completely inadequate as it forces the consumer to remember to effectively disable the range to avoid accidentally turning on a burner. As this issue happens very frequently, I am just arbitrarily choosing a date. The range is in our previous home. We moved but still own the home where the range exists and intent on renting the home.

The product, in the report: 6.3 Cu. Ft. Smart Induction Slide-in Range With Convection, Air Fry And Easyclean, Printproof Stainless Steel purchased on 10/25/2025. I cannot provide serial number cause it is at the back of the range. The range is installed.
I purchased an LG oven, model LSIL6332FE, on October 13, 2025 in California. On January 26, 2026, the glass panel shattered during normal kitchen use. The panel has no metal frame or edge protection. A pot lid lightly hit the edge of the glass while opening a nearby cabinet, and the glass shattered immediately.
This is not misuse. it is a design defect and a serious safety hazard. Glass fragments fell to the floor, risking injury to people and pets. I was wearing shoes and was fortunate my dog was not nearby.
My warranty claim with LG was denied as cosmetic damage (Case No. [REDACTED]), but this is clearly a design-related defect, not cosmetic. LG Executive Customer Relations closed my case after they sent a technician to check it out. The technician said to me that I use heavy pots.
I request the CPSC to investigate this as a potential design-related safety hazard.

The product, in the report: LG Electric range LTE4815**. This is what it says on the owners manual.
My mom and I have had a few instances where our stove/oven could have started a fire. The dials on the stove easily turn on without using any intention to start the stove. We have burnt several towels and pots unknowingly just brushing up on some dials causes a humongous worries and concerns. That is how we received this oven in 2019. We become busy, or juggling to many things in the house. Plus my mother is 86 and I have some memory issues. A couple or 3 years ago issued a recall on our model, but they offered a lock for the stove dials and would not give us consumers to exchange for another model that doesnt have this dangerous defect. I believe it takes advantage on the consumers. If my mom and I did not have these dial locks to lock in the beginning, I believe that we could forget to put the lock.
Since we are the consumers we bought a product with a dangerous defect. LG should offer our money back or another model that doesnt have this defect. If we knew that this stove had this defect, we would not have bought this model or anything model perhaps with this company. This is an unsafe product.

The product, in the report: The product is a LG electric range with multiple surface burners and front-mounted control knobs. The appliance is used for everyday household cooking and is installed in a residential kitchen. The surface burners are controlled by individual temperature knobs intended to regulate heat output from low to high settings. The issue involves one of the electric surface burners, which does not regulate temperature consistently when set to low.
The electric burner on my LG range overheats and behaves as if it is set to high even when the control know is on a low setting. On more than one occasion, the burner temperature increased unexpectedly after being set to low, causing food to burn and creating a safety concern. The issue does not appear to be user error, as the control setting remains unchanged while the heat output increases on its own. Due to the unpredictable temperature behavior, I am concerned about the risk of burns, smoke or fire. As we have already experienced major smoke damage from the burner being unpredictable. I have contacted LG and an authorized service technician has been dispatched to inspect the appliance.

I have a LG oven/stovetop that was purchased. Within 6 months of purchase the front burner heated up to extremely high temperature and would not turn down when turning the knob. I contacted LG and described the issue involving the hot burner and a type of electrical zap sound when using the knob and they simple instructed me to reset by disconnecting electricity. I did the reset but the same burner continued to do the same thing. That burner has now stopped completely working as of yesterday and the burner next to it is doing the same issue as the first burner. I contacted LG as u now see they have recalls on some of their stovetops for this issue but they are telling me that mine is not included in the recall.

The product, in the report: Electric slide-in range with surface burners and oven. Stainless steel finish. Used for residential cooking in a home kitchen.
While using an LG electric slide-in range, the surface burner remained ON even though the control knob was in the OFF position. Turning the knob did not shut off the burner. This created a serious fire and burn hazard. The appliance could not be safely operated, and power was disconnected to prevent injury or property damage. My lg ThinQ stove was accidentally turned on while we were not at home (perhaps by our dogs) and nearly burned our house down. We arrived to smoke alarms blaring and smoke billowing throughout the brand new house. The smoke damaged the kitchen and permeated a terrible odor throughout our home. We are so lucky it didnt burn the whole house down, but IT COULD HAVE. The knobs bump on constantly and we bought the above range microwave which causes us to bump the knobs on multiple times daily. We didnt know there was a control lock feature and that solution is not enough because we have older kids and teenagers in our home cooking all the time [REDACTED] they may not be reliable to engage the control lock each time. This design is hazardous and should be modified to save homes and lives!

No one hurt Made Dec 5, 2025, sent to the company Dec 10, 2025, published by CPSC Dec 29, 2025
The product, in the report: LG Slide In Electric Range
We have remodeled our kitchen over the past summer and fall. We purchased an LG Slide In electric range. We have had three near fires with this range being turned on accidentally. The issue is with the control knobs. They are across the front of the range nearest the door. This model does not have a back, the whole unit is countertop height. The knobs can be easily bumped and turned on without the user knowing it. The most recent time (yesterday) a knob was unknowingly bumped. The result was a melted silicone mat and a house full of smoke. After the first two similar events, we found in the instructions that there is a “lock” function for the controls. This works if the user remembers to “lock” the controls after each use. Yesterday this step was missed. The part that is a flaw or could be improved on is: when the unit is locked and a knob is turned there is an electronic tone to let the user know that the unit needs to be unlocked in order to be used. When the unit is “unlocked” there is no tone or indication that a burner or oven has been turned on or off. The additional flaw is this example: The oven is being used and a knob is bumped, now the user can have a burner heating up with unintended results because the range must be “unlocked” for the oven function to be used. So, at this time there have not been any injuries, just some unpleasant smoke and ruined oven silicone mats. So far, my wife and I are the only ones using the product but we will have a child home from college for holidays and summer that will use this as well. I think that possible solutions to this problem would be the range automatically locks when all controls are in the off position, requiring the user to unlock it before use every time. Possibly incorporate the electric tones (that are already being used) so that it gives a sound anytime a burner or oven is commanded on. It looks like LG has had similar problems with similar units and the “fix” is to post a warning label that they will provide. I don’t think this is a permanent fix as there will be complacency, I am sure it provides LG with some peace of mind that the user has been warned.

While baking with the new LG range/oven which was less than a month old my wife started smelling a burning plastic smell in the kitchen. As we searched for the source of the smell, we started to see light smoke and a stronger burning plastic smell coming from the new electric range. We thought the range was on fire so we got our fire extinguisher and then pulled the range away from the wall and then unplugged the unit. Upon inspection of the source of smoke and burning plastic smell, we found 3 problems 1. The power terminal block on the back of the electric range was melted and cracked. 2. Both the black wire and the white wire coming down from inside the electric range were loose and could be moved by hand as if they were never fully tightened during the manufacturing of the unit. The screws that both wires were attached to were not fully seated and the terminal for the black wire was charred with black soot 3. The power cable was installed without a strain relief clamp No other property damage or injuries

The product, in the report: lg LSEL6335F
this will be my 3rd safety report on this LG model#LSEL6335F. 1st about the stupid recall resolution to apply a sticker so my dogs or children don’t accidently bump the knobs and burn the house down. 2nd stovetop burner was set to low to heat leftovers it then decided to go to full on high by itself luckily i walked by and smelled the burning. 3rd after LG replaced the knobs now there is some sort of pulsating/vibration on all the knobs whenever the oven desires. all 3 incidents have been described as a safety issue from the LG representatives. i’m currently working with a LG presidential liaison, to resolve this but it’s been a while and still nothing. i believe this deserves immediate attention due to the fire hazards. hopefully this oven hasn’t cost any lives yet but it’s just a matter of time. hopefully thanks for your help in this matter. please send a confirmation email to me. i would like a copy to prove that i have done everything i can to protect my family.

The product, in the report: Model Number: LSEL6335F/00 Product Code: LSEL6335F.ASGLGA Serial Number: 403KMVP0N303 Manufacture Date: 03/2024 Location of Label: Inside oven door frame
I am reporting a serious safety issue with my LG Electric Range.
Model Number: LSEL6335F/00
Product Code: LSEL6335F.ASGLGA
Serial Number: 403KMVP0N303
Manufacture Date: 03/2024
Location of Label: Inside oven door frame
Since April 30, 2025, this range has been non-functional and unsafe. An LG-authorized technician confirmed the oven door is broken and cannot be repaired, and LG stated they have no replacement parts for the door.
In addition, the control lock safety mechanism is defective the burners turn on by themselves, even when the lock is supposed to prevent any activation. This is an extreme fire and burn hazard in a household with children and pets.
After nearly five months, LG has offered no resolution, no replacement, and no workable repair. The issue remains open under [REDACTED]. Their technician has confirmed LG cannot fix the unit, and no parts are available. This is a dangerous product failure and poses a serious consumer safety risk.
I am requesting a CPSC review and investigation.

The product, in the report: LG model LWC3063ST combination wall oven. Built-in microwave-convection upper unit and conventional-convection lower unit. Manufactured May 2022. Made in Korea
Water steaming tank popped out of hot oven on its own. It was hot and could not be returned to its built-in position. This occurred while removing a roast from the oven. LG model LWC3063ST combination wall oven. Had I not moved quickly, I would have had a burn on my arm. Other owners have experienced the same problem.

The product, in the report: 5 burner LG household electric range with air fryer, blue inside, stainless steel black on the outside. Manufactured February 2024
We own a LG electric range. We have had it for almost 18 months. We are experiencing two separate issues. Our left front burner when placed on high the lowered to a lower setting will be stuck and not go to a lower setting. Then when we turn that one off and move our pan to the right front burner and turn the right front burner on then the left and right burner turns on. Also sporadically when the right burner is the only burner turned on the left burner will turn on, even when the knob is in the off position. This also happens the opposite way. My husband and I have been the only people to use our range. We were using it to boil water, cooking meat and other foods and when the left turned on while in the off position when I turned the right burner on I was cooking scrambled eggs. No injuries as of yet, thank goodness . What could have happened is my hand could have rested on the burner that was supposed to be off my was actually on, food could have burned and created a fire. It has happened 4 times if not more but we have pictures dated August 24, 2025

The product, in the report: New electric LG stove. Stainless steel. We recently bought a stove from LOWES. LG - Model LTEL733F.
[REDACTED] & [REDACTED] [REDACTED]. I am a quadriplegic and use a power wheelchair. I went by the stove and barley tapped one of the knobs and one of the burners came on. This has happened to my wife and my young child. If we had known this was an issue with this product we would have not bought it. We did reach out to Lowes because my wife was unable shortly after our purchase. I am surprised that Lowes would have sold a faulty product. This is a danger to me and my family.

The product, in the report: This product is an LG slide-in electric range, model number LSEL6335FE, serial number 403KMXYOJ666. Manufactured March 2024. Purchased July 2024
When I turned on the right front burner of the LG slide-in electric range, model number LSEL6335FE, the left front burner also turns on. I happened to have another appliance sitting on top of the left front burner at that moment, so I did not immediately realize what was happening. Fortunately I discovered that the left front burner was on before the other appliance sitting on top of the left front burner was badly damaged. At first I thought that perhaps I had inadvertently turned the left front burner on too, but this was not the case. I have tested it repeatedly, and every time I turn on the right front burner, the left front burner also turns on.

LG stove, one burner turns on, another burner is full power. Or one burner will go from what it is set on to full power on its own. Then it won’t turn off. We called LG and said there was a recall, but there have been no posts about the recall. They did come out pretty fast and replaced all of the burner controls. The technician said he has been really busy doing this. but sicne LG has not put out a notice this could really be a bad issue

I have an LG stove burners knob is on front of the stove. The knobs are easily turned on. My dogs have bumped them on before countersurfing and tonight I layed a box on the stove and just barely bumped them on and didn’t know it and left the house. I came home to a house full of smoke and the box of stuff I got was smoldering if I was gone a little bit longer my house would have been on fire.

Caller stated that they witnessed the rear left burner of the glass top range came on and off by itself for a few seconds, it beeped, and the flame was orange. She stated that the incident occurred the next day as well. Caller contacted the manufacturer, but they informed her that her model was not included in a recall. Caller stated that the breaker was turned off and they have stopped using the range to prevent a house fire.
Caller stated that she is currently without a stove and the manufacturer is reluctant to assist, she feels that this range poses a fire hazard and should be recalled.

I have a LG range model # LSEL6335F. While using only one eye on the stove other eyes will turn on by themselves. Even when the knob is off and reach very high temperatures. I have to turn the eye on and then turn it back off, before if turns off. I contacted LG and will be receiving a warning sticker to put on the range. I feel like that’s not enough. The sticker only gives you a warning and how to lock the range while not in use. What about while the range is in use? It’s very scary while you’re cooking to see random eyes turning on out of the blue.

The product, in the report: LG Oven
I have an LG stove that I purchased in January 2025. The model number is LSEL6333F. The stovetop is equipped with an ultraheat burner on the front left. No matter what heat level you select at the knob, the burner is constantly on. For example, if you set the burner to level 2, the burner stays on so its essentially on high the whole time. Even if you reduce the heat by turning the knob, the burner does not cycle off. This has resulted in damage to expensive cookware, and excessive smoke that has almost killed our bird.
