The product, in the report: Black Mr. Coffee Maker by Keurig. Model # BCMV-KG1A
I was using my Mr. Coffee single serve coffee maker by keurig, in my kitchen. I was standing at the counter waiting for it to finish, when all of a sudden, it made a hissing noise and the front part, where the coffee pod goes, popped open and steam, coffee and grinds shot out of the pod. it shot coffee all over my kitchen counter, floor and walls. Some landed on my right hand and caused 2nd degree burns. I contacted the company immediately.

The product, in the report: Keurig K Cup platinum and [REDACTED] Coffee Maker - K cup type
My coffee maker smoked and it is too young to smoke.....
I own several [REDACTED] and Keurig K cup coffee makers. [REDACTED] the coffee maker was built with a [REDACTED] internal water leak that DRIPS IN THE POWER TRANSFORMER and the air compressor pump motor internal to the coffee maker. This creates a potential fire hazard as the power transformer and air pump is getting wet and rusty. In addition to the water leak.. the pneumatic valve is not built for water internal to the valve. It is constructed of steel and produces RUST. I have photos that show the level of rust build up. This rust is returned with the overflow water and steam / water vapor back into the clean water tank for the coffee maker. I do not think drinking rust in my coffee from a degenerating and rusty control solenoid is good for my health. THIS SUCKS and I think it is unsafe. [REDACTED] Regards [REDACTED]

The product, in the report: Keurig B70 Platinum Brewer
I have a Keurig B70 Coffee maker that is less than one year old that I have started to have problems with. I contacted Keurig that said the problem was most likely caused by the K-Cups that I used, made by [REDACTED]. Because of that, they provided different use instruction from what the manual instructs. Normal use is to open the unit, stick in the K-Cup, and then close the lid, and the two needles puncture the K-Cup. Instructions under normal use also note there are sharp needles in the unit and states: “Caution: There are two sharp needles that puncture the K-Cup portion pack, one above the K-Cup holder and the other in the bottom of the K-Cup Holder. To avoid risk of injury, do not put your fingers in the K-Cup Assembly Housing.” The new instructions are to place the K-Cup into the unit, and then press the K-Cup down with force to have the lower needle puncture the bottom of the cup, while holding the lid open. These instructions clearly are in contradiction of the manual. If you don’t securely hold the lid open when doing this, the unit closes on your hand with the top needle coming down into your fingers, which I have now done on two occasions. I have recontacted Keurig, and also [REDACTED]. Keurig is not responding, and [REDACTED] stop after the details of the incident were reported. Case Numbers: Keurig: [REDACTED] [REDACTED]
