The product, in the report: Scepter five gallon gasoline can
ScepterUSA five gallon gas can with safety spout, this complaint also applies to similar products sold by other firms ([REDACTED] and [REDACTED] for one).
When dispensing gasoline from one of these cans spillage is impossible to avoid. To refill my garden tractor I have to physically hoist the full gas can- weight over 35 pounds. - to above shoulder height, balance it and provide proper direction while using one hand to unlock the spout to dispense gasoline, Spillage is difficult to avoid and results in gasoline my shirt and pants. I also use this can while traveling with our RV to refill a portable generator - which results in spillage on my pants legs, shoes and the bed of my pick up. I am a retired environmental scientist (PhD) and feel that this type of can and spout is a safety and environmental hazard,
