The product, in the report: Plastic Blisterpack Transfer Pump

Caller is reporting a transfer pump that is labeled multi use that transfers liquid from one source to another such as gasoline or oil.

When pump was manufactured, it was made without any way to screw together or clamp, it’s just a plastic head that pushes into rubber head. Container is plastic and has the raised area where the two halves are fused together & this is where the problem lies because it is not beaded correctly allowing leakage. It is made to disasemble easily but the marks on it are a little bit raised and because gasoline is thin it leaks out of the bottom of the pump and leaks around feet of person using it.

He states that through the day the person using it can see the leaking but if it were to be used at night with vision impaired then it could be an extreme safety hazard.

Caller states that the verbiage states, that it is used to transport gasoline.
