The product, in the report: Deodorizing powder for carpets
The consumer says that the product has given him severe reactions 3 to 4 days after applying it on his carpet. He says his feet started to itch. It worsened and started getting burning in groin area, buttocks and lips. The carpet that he put the powder on was washed months ago with a carpet cleaning solution, and he is not sure if the powder mixed with the cleaning solution is causing the problem. The powder is labeled “extra strength” on the box. The consumer contacted the manufacturer and they told him the item contains only baking soda and fragrance. They offered no other assistance.
