The product, in the report: Product was extensively damaged to the point a determination of brand, model, size, serial number could not be determined. The product was a scented wax warmer used in the residence as an air freshener.

Our fire department was dispatched to a residential structure for a report of smoke from the HVAC ducts. Upon arrival, on scene personnel determined that a “Scentsy” scented wax warmer in the bathroom of the home had caught fire and was actively burning and producing moderate smoke. Personnel on scene smothered the fire, and removed the warmer to outdoors. Damage to the device made identification impossible, and the device was left with the resident for disposal. No flame damage resulted from the incident; however, minor smoke damage was present throughout the structure.
