The product, in the report: ScentSicle holiday ornament. Used to make an artificial tree smell like a fresh cut one.
I purchased Scentsicle scented holiday ornaments about 2 weeks prior to Christmas to add some holiday scents to my home. I accidentally left one laying on my end table. At some point between then and now a remote was placed on it. When I was dusting today, I noticed it sitting there and was planning to place it back into the container I bought it in. However, when I lifted the the remote, I noticed the bottom appeared sticky. On closer inspection, I found that the plastic of the remote had melted in the area that the scentscicle touched and also found the finish of my end table to be dissolved in the same spot. While I am irritated that this happened to my remote and table, I am concerned that this is a product that is supposed to be used on plastic trees!
