The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: The product is a candle warmer, which uses an overhead halogen bulb to melt the top layer of a scented candle’s wax without flame to produce the scent. It has a wooden base and a metal arm creating an arc up to the halogen bulb. A glass bell (lamp shade) creates a dome over the top of where the candle will go. Dimensions - 9.8 in L x 9.8 in W x 13.8 in H Materials - Wooden base with a metal arm and glass dome Power Source - Plug in electric

I was setting up the Mood & Moss Retro Candle Warmer (https://moodandmoss.com/products/retro-candle-warmer) out of the box. The current design uses a trio of spring tension arms to hold the glass shade in place. I was attempting to push the arms down to fit through the top of the shade when one slipped and pinched the skin of my index finger badly enough to require medical attention. (Thankfully, I got away with medical glue and not stitches.)
