The product, in the report: The product is an electric wax warmer used to melt wax for hair removal. During normal use, the unit overheated and the plastic cover melted, indicating a failure of temperature control and thermal safety protection and creating a burn and fire hazard. The item was purchased via [REDACTED] from (Rainbow Department Store) at 1521 W Valley Blvd, Alhambra, CA 91803, for $25 cash. The seller refused responsibility and blocked communication after being notified of the defect.

The wax warmer overheated during normal use, and the plastic cover melted, indicating a failure of the temperature control or thermal safety mechanism. This type of appliance should regulate heat within a safe range and shut off if overheating occurs. The melting of the housing shows a product defect that creates a serious burn and fire hazard. This was not caused by misuse, but by unsafe operation of the device itself.
