The product, in the report: Wallflower plug in from Bath and Body Works. Has the nighlight. You can buy and switch out different scents that will be diffused through your house. It is the silver/white one. P1271 are the numbers written on the back
To Whom It May Concern, I am reaching out regarding a serious safety concern involving one of your Bath & Body Works Wallflower plug-ins. Over the last couple of weeks, the breaker connected to part of our home repeatedly tripped with no obvious explanation. After the third occurrence, we began checking every outlet connected to that circuit, which includes our bathroom, hallway, and our young sons bedroom. The only item plugged into any of those outlets was in our hallway and it was a Bath & Body Works Wallflower plug-in. Upon removing it, we discovered significant brown yellow residue and discoloration around both the outlet and the Wallflower device itself. Definitely seeped into the plug in itself.. The residue would not wipe away and appeared to have come from the plug-in oil unit. It was hard like it was melted or something, I tried scrubbing and scraping it off and nothing While I understand fragrance oils can sometimes leak, it is extremely concerning that this issue coincided with repeated breaker trips on that circuit. We are very thankful the breaker shut off power before this potentially became a much more dangerous electrical issue resulting in a house fire.. As parents with a young child and pets in the home, this situation was alarming. We have used Wallflowers for years and never expected a product designed for continuous household use to be associated with this kind of electrical concern or risk. We have retained the Wallflower device and taken photographs documenting the outlet and residue- discoloration. We are also considering having the outlet professionally inspected to ensure no internal electrical damage occurred. I would appreciate this matter being escalated to your product safety or claims department so we can better understand next steps and determine whether this issue has been previously reported by other customers.

The product, in the report: White Flower Top Bath & Body Works Wallflower
On 3/13/2021, I pulled a Bath & Body Works Wallflower out of my socket. Upon doing so, there was a big boom (sounded like an exploding light), big spark about 5-6 inches, and it cut power from my bathroom. This caused the product to burn, the light socket to burn and also burnt my metal plate I had around the socket. I had to have the socket replaced. This could have started a fire in my home and I contacted B&BW to report the incident. The representative informed me there are no reports of this happening. I informed her there are multiple reports online and even news reports in regards to the exploding Wallflower. She then stated that it is reported at about 5%. This is 5% too many. 5% could have lost their homes and/or lives. This product needs recalled before it seriously harms or kills someone.

The product, in the report: Bath and Body Works Wallflower/plug-in air freshener
My wife purchased a Bath and Body Works Wallflower, a plug-in air freshener. The scent was strong so she unplugged it and placed in on my bedside stand. The oil leaked from the container and spread over the table, saturating my cellular phone. The oil completely disintegrated the phone. The lining started to bubble, the plastic cracked, and now my flip phone is in two pieces. A small amount of the oil dripped onto the hardwood floor and ate away at the finish, leaving a discolored area on the floor. The leaked oil is noxious, causing irritation to our nasal passages and a skin irritation as well. I read the packages and found no warnings on the labels that would lead me to believe that this would be a problem.
