The product, in the report: About this product Fill your space with the tantalizing scent of this apple blossom liquid potpourri from True Living™. It can be used in any variety of simmering pots or containers, or poured directly on a bowl of dried flowers. True Living™ liquid potpourri Apple blossom scent 33.6 oz
My long time friend and neighbor was at my house yesterday and her two year old child grabbed my liquid potpourri holder that was on the table and took a sip. He started screaming right away, and his mother brought him to the kitchen to wash out his mouth. We washed out his mouth and washed off the residue left on his face. Because my husband called the poison control number, we did recieve help and were told to call the ambulance. Poison control needed to know the ingredients that were listed on the bottle and there were none! There was no information on the website (dollar general), where I bought the bottle and poison control could not find any MSDS forms either.
At the Emergency room the doctor called poison control immediately per their instructions. In the ambulance the childs mouth swelled up and at my home he was throwing up and coughing. Thankfully he is ok now after being observed for six hours at the emergency room. However, we still don’t know what was in the product to cause the reaction. Because this little boy vomitted, it was diagnosed as an accidental poisoning. I am very cautious with my decorations, but this has caused both families much pain, anger, and fright. Please let the store and the manufacturer know that we have hired a lawyer, and that listing the ingredients along with the number for poison control, would have saved this baby a lot of unnecessary pain.
Thank you!
