First aid Made Apr 29, 2013, sent to the company Oct 31, 2013, published by CPSC Nov 22, 2013
The product, in the report: Air Fresher Spray
Caller was provided CPSC Hotline phone number by the assistant to Michigan Senator [REDACTED] to report the air freshener aerosol can spray.
She is reporting as a safety hazard because when spraying the contents settle on the floor. She sprayed and then twisted her foot while walking on it. She treated herself with a mentholated rub and bandaging.
She did not expect to have this incident because there is no warning of slippery floors when spraying. The warnings regard fire, not spraying near eyes, etc. She tried to contact the manufacturer but they do not accept calls from rotary phones
She is asking that this be investigated for the safety of the consumer before someone is seriously injured.
UPDATE FROM CONSUMER: There needs to be a warning cleatly. On ALL air fresheners that they do cause floors to become dangerously slippery when sprayed over flooring
