Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.
Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: Bath and Body Works Wallflowers - Plug in and Refills. It is used to add scent to the air. URL to the ingredients: https ://www. bathandbodyworks.com/e/product-ingredients?q=667555881555&cm_sp= PDP-_-Ingredients_-Ingredients
I purchased two Wallflowers plug in air fresheners and five refill bottles from a Bath and Body Works retail location in Chicago. Installed them both, one in my bathroom and one in my dining area. I did install them incorrectly, upside down. There were very little instructions on use and the folks at the retail location did not provide instructions. This caused the liquid inside to spill onto my bathroom sink and my dining area floor. In the bathroom, the liquid spilled onto an enamel tray first, then over the edge of the plate. This caused the plate to be essentially welded to my [REDACTED] sink, even though there were padded feet on the enamel tray. Once I pried it free with a screwdriver, I examined the bottom of the enamel tray. The liquid from the Wallflowers had melted the paint on the bottom of the tray, turning the paint into a slimy, sticky mush. Where it dripped down the wall, it removed the paint as well. In the dining area, I had it plugged in behind a kitchen console. The liquid dripped down the board of the console and onto my floor. It removed the stain from the console and where it puddled on the floor it caused considerable bubbling of my floor’s finish. No cleaner or liquid would remove the bubbled finish. I used a paint scraper to clean it. I’m not sure whether to categorize this as a hazardous incident or a safety concern. My primary issue is that there is no labeling on the devices or the refills describing how dangerous the liquid inside is. While I personally only suffered damaged paint, the liquid inside is clearly extraordinarily toxic and possibly dangerous to skin contact.

No one hurt Made Jan 14, 2018, sent to the company Apr 13, 2018, published by CPSC May 4, 2018
The product, in the report: Bath & Body Works Wallflower Plugin
The Bath & Body Works Wallflower I purchased spit hot oil at my cabinet and burned it. I have seen many other customers have the same issue and just heard of one burning at the plug. It’s so common they just refer customers to their lawyers and pay out money rather than taking it off the market. They are fully aware of this issue. They need to pull these off store shelves and stop selling them. They are getting too hot and spitting boiling hot oil straight up at anything nearby. They also have a product called car scentportable that leaks oil on to your car and ruins anything it comes in contact with. Very expensive to repair. Just google the wallflower burning and you’ll see plenty of customers who experienced this.

Hurt, no treatment Made Dec 12, 2013, sent to the company Dec 20, 2013, published by CPSC Jan 7, 2014
The product, in the report: BATH AND BODY WORKS PEPPERMINT TWIST ROOM SPRAY CONCENTRATED
I PURCHASED PEPPERMINT TWIST CONCENTRATED ROOM SPRAY FROM BATH AND BODY WORKS. AFTER FOLLOWING THE DIRECTIONS I SPRAYED TWO QUICK SPRAYS INTO THE ROOM, WITHIN 45 SECONDS, MY HUSBAND AND 4 YEAR OLD GRANDAUGHTER AND I, STARTED COUGHING, GAGGING, CHOKING AND GASPING FOR AIR. IT MADE OUR THROATS SORE AND EVEN THOUGH WE WENT OUTDOORS AND TRIED TO AIR OUT THE HOUSE, OUR THROATS WERE ALREADY RAW AND SCRATCHY. THIS WAS UNBEARABLE AND VERY UPSETTING. IT LASTED FOR ABOUT 20 MINUTES, BUT THE SCRATCHY THROAT CONTINUED FOR ABOUT 4 HOURS. WHEN I GOOGLED IT ON THE INTERNET, IT SEEMS TO BE A PROBLEM FOR MANY OTHER PEOPLE
