The product, in the report: Ceramic pot with stainless steel canister inside. Bio-fuel gel
Was sitting at my computer out on my deck with a firepot lit on my coffee table. The silver canister inside my ceramic bowl shot out of the bowl and landed on the other side of the love seat where I was sitting. It spread fire along it’s path dropping it on the love seat cushions, table, my computer, rug and also my leg, hand and top of head was on fire. My husband came right away and put out my head, threw me in the house and put out my hand and leg. I have 2nd degree burns to my right leg between the knee and ankle. I have used the firepot many times after getting it for Mother’s Day. But this is the first time I used the citronella gel. It happened with 10 minutes of lighting it. I did nothing different this time then I have in the past and I followed the directions. I loved my pot but these are tooo unstable to use. These must be recalled right away. I am very lucky that I was not hurt worse and that my pets and children were not outside with me!
