The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: Oil Additive

The consumer indicates that she put some oil additive in her tank and as soon as she breathed the product in she began sneezing, and coughing, and her throat became irritated, her eyes sore, her ears clogged, and her nose very runny. The consumer states that she is still experiencing some of these symptoms so she scheduled a Doctor’s appointment for 04/22/2021.

The consumer contacted her oil company and asked if they had reports of others being affected and she was informed they had never heard of this but that it was used by the military for twenty years.

The consumer notes that this was the first time she used the product.
