The product, in the report: Rit clothing dye- white bottle, dimensions are 5.66 inches length x 2.43 inches width x 2.09 inches height
On October 8, 2024, my younger brother inadvertently ingested a clothing dye produced by the Rit brand. This incident precipitated symptoms of severe vomiting and uncontrolled bowel movements. Upon contacting the poison control center, my parents were advised to provide him with ample hydration, maintain vigilant monitoring, and seek medical consultation if his condition deteriorated. Regrettably, his symptoms escalated, necessitating urgent transport to the Emergency Room. Subsequently, he was admitted to the hospital, where the dye inflicted internal injuries. Seven days later, he was declared brain dead, and subsequently, life support was withdrawn, culminating in his passing on October 12, 2024.
