  1. Seen by a doctor or nurse

Made Jul 5, 2017, sent to the company Jul 13, 2017, published by CPSC Jul 27, 2017

The product, in the report: Red, white, blue , yellow label, with red plastic trigger pump, 28 fluid ounce spray bottle

On June 16,2017 after reviewing use directions, cautions and first Aid Treatment label ( after showering) I cleaned shower glass doors with Magic Shower Glass& Mirror cleaner. I used no other cleaning products on this day. Later in the day my hands started itching,by morning on June 17 2017 my hands and fingers were experiencing redness ,itching , blistering /small bubbles, inflammation . By June 18 2017 blistering became more severe and growing, from June 19 to June 21,2017 blisters at base of palms/thumbs area became very large( about 1inch diameter)and hands became painful. I e-mailed my physician on June 22, 2017 for advice,Acting fill in Physician informed me my Physician was out of office until June 26,2017 was it possible to e-mail pictures,I was unable to send pictures and made appointment to be seen on June 26,2017 by my Physician. On June 26,2017 I visited my Physician,I was diagnosed with chemical burns to my hands and treatment began,I was advised to not use this product again. As of July 5,2017 I am still being treated, there is severe pain, scaring and skin peeling at base of palm/thumb area,at this time it is not known how long recovery will be or if there will be any long term scaring. I have photo’s documenting injuries to hands. The caution label on Magic Shower Glass&Mirror had no mention of harm to skin or protection needed. I would like to see Magic Shower Glass &Mirror cleaning have better caution warnig label regarding hands and skin damage and protection needed and first aid treatment.

The product, in the report: Spray solvent for glass cleaning

I purchased a spray product callled Magic Shower Glass and Mirror cleaner. The label states that the product is manufactured by the HOMAX GROUP, Inc., however when contacting them by telephone, they apparently sold out to a company by the name of WEIMAN Inc. This company will not answer their published phone numbers, nor can one leave a call back message. I have also attempted to send them and email, but have received no reply.

This product caused lung damage when attempting to clean a shower stall glass door. It is extremely irritating and should not be on the market. I need help in contacting this company for possible recourse.
