First aid Made Dec 11, 2019, sent to the company Dec 18, 2019, published by CPSC Jan 10, 2020
The product, in the report: Dawn Dish Detergent
I have a severe Methylisothiazolinone allergy. Today I purchased both Dawn dish detergent and [REDACTED]. I used both products when cleaning my house. There is nothing on the [REDACTED] label or the Dawn label that warns that the products contain Methylisothiazolinone or any of its sister formulations. I have gone into allergic shock, and am experiencing an allergic skin reaction all over my face, lips, and eyelids. It is both painful and disfiguring. Any product that contains Methylisothiazolinone or any of its sister formulations needs to be CLEARLY labeled with such information, so consumers can avoid it.
