  1. No one hurt

Made Jun 2, 2017, sent to the company Aug 11, 2017, published by CPSC Sep 1, 2017

The product, in the report: Damp Rid hanging bag. Contains chemical and empty space on bottom catch.

The product is DampRid, a home moisture remover. It is a good product but also dangerous. The bag is 2 sided. The product on the top and the bottom catches the water. The bag was full and I was discarding it. I placed the product on my Formica counter, and unbeknown to me, it was leaking. Also on my floor. I sprayed it with a cleaning product and it became extremely slippery. It could have caused a fall. I tried several times to clean it up. I called the manufacturer on Sat. May 27, 2017 and requested a call back. By Tues. May 30th, 2017 no return call was received. I called them and explained to the agent what happened. She advised me to only use clear water and towel it up. I advised her there was no direction concerning this on the product. She said she was aware of this and many concerns regarding this were made to the business to no avail, by their staff. It is very dangerous
