The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

  1. No one hurt

Made Apr 17, 2023, sent to the company May 5, 2023, published by CPSC May 19, 2023

The product, in the report: Persil Proclean with Active Scent boost. It is in a blue bottle. Nowhere on the bottle does it say laundry detergent, nor the word laundry. It does have one small labell that says “for both” with a picture about the size of a dime, depicting two small machines that I guess are supposed to be washers?

My roommates and I purchased Persil Proclean, as it was in the dish detergent isle. Being skeptical we read the bottle, and it did not specify what type of detergent it was so we bought it. Six months later we went to buy more, and saw it in a box labelled “Laundry detergent”. As you probably know, it’s not healthy to use laundry detergent as dish detergent, which is something we’ve been doing for half a year because the bottle is not adequately labelled.
