The product, in the report: LA’s Totally Awesome laundry detergent with stain lifter

We purchased 4 bottles of (orange bottle) LA’s Totally Awesome laundry detergent with stain lifter, as we have been using it for years. This recent batch has an extremely strong chemical smell that has ruined our clothing. I suspect the batch was not mixed properly when it was made. The chemical smell is overpowering and nauseating. I have saved two of the bottles of the detergent. I called the 800 number on the back of the detergent bottle. I spoke with a lady that answered the phone and explained the reason for my call. She stated that she “would inform management about this”. She did not want to take my information or phone number. She did not even want the batch number from the detergent bottle. I feel as though that nothing will be done reference my complaint. I feel that due to the amount of chemical odor that is present, it may border on being toxic to human health. It has ruined much of our clothing that had to be thrown out due to the chemical odor. I will provide detergent samples to the investigating agency that is investigating this complaint. The batch number of this detergent is #21231.
