On June 11, I was at Lowes to buy a muriatic acid for my pool with my daughter (she was also next to me and she is five years old )and we were at the garden center. I was grabbing the two boxes from the shelf at the bottom. I was able to put one in the cart but the second one slipped through my hand, and then when the box touched the ground, suddenly the caps came off, and the acid splashed to my face, especially to my eye then I was running around in a giant pain that I need a water. I was calling the people to bring me water and one person brought the bottle I tried to flush as soon as possible then luckily in the garden center the people at Lowes was able to bring the garden hose and I was washing my eye for about 10-15 minutes then I asked them to get me to the eye wash station which was inside the store in the corner somewhere so I was able to go in to eyewash station and then get more cleaned as much as I can, but I had to still great pain due to the burning already happened.Later on I went to the ER and they couldnot do much besides the washing the eye again and for the night luckily there was an eyedrop given by ER that numb my nerves in that area to be able to sleep, but I was still in a great pain and I got really red around itself so I had to go to optometrist for the next couple weeks. There was a damage to retina so to heal it ,I had to use some eye drops while I still had a pain that I had due to the burning so I would like to definitely get some compensation and still waiting for an answer from the company.Kemtek still didnt respond to me as I sent the email for three weeks and Lowes also still couldnt get the records since for the last three weeks, which is a very disappointed situation that they are still trying to come up with a resolution before I go and open a legal case.Muriatik acid should have extra seal on the bottles for extra safety
