  1. First aid

Made May 1, 2025, sent to the company May 6, 2025, published by CPSC May 20, 2025

The product, in the report: The product comes in a beige plastic flip top box. Inside there are 3 vials of liquid with possibly Chinese writing labeled Reagent 1 reagent 2 reagent 3 respectively. There is also a glass vial with likes for 10ml, 5ml and 2ml. A small pipette is also included.

The Dissolved Oxygen Test Kit - Accurate Water Testing for Freshwater, Saltwater Aquariums, Ponds, Sewage, etc. - All-in-One Solution, Quick and Easy Results Being sold on Amazon.com by Almpal was purchased to test dissolved oxygen content in a residential stock pond. The kit comes with very poor instructions, no warnings or descriptions of the chemicals involved, and no handling, disposal or storage instructions. The directions are written in broken English, inconsistently switching between milliliters and centimeters. The glass bottle you are supposed to shake to mix the reagents does not seal properly and whatever chemical is inside caused surface chemical burns upon contact. The solution is also stains and corrodes surfaces. At the very least, the manufacturer should disclose what substances are being used so users can take proper safety precautions.
