PRODUCT: Imagitarium Aquarium Master Test Kit SKU: 3769528 SELLER: Petco (retail locations and online)

SAFETY HAZARD: This kit contains multiple chemical test solutions packaged in the same box, including: - Solutions that likely contain sodium nitroprusside (based on comparable products) - Nitrate/nitrite test solutions containing 15% hydrochloric acid

DANGER: These chemicals, when mixed, can produce hydrogen cyanide gas. The product provides no Safety Data Sheet (SDS), no ingredient disclosure, and no warnings about dangerous chemical combinations within the same kit.

ACCIDENTAL MIXING RISK: During normal use, consumers could easily: - Confuse similar-looking bottles - Accidentally mix solutions - Cross-contaminate equipment between tests

Without an SDS or hazard warnings, consumers have no knowledge that mixing these solutions within the same product kit could produce lethal hydrogen cyanide gas.

REQUESTED ACTION: CPSC investigation into whether packaging incompatible chemicals together without proper hazard warnings violates consumer product safety standards.

Petco customer service confirmed no SDS is available for this product.
