The product, in the report: Side grinder
On 3/20/2010 while working (cutting) on a piece of metal the machinery got away from him. While attempting to catch it and attempting to reach over the grinder to power it in the off position he received a laceration to his left hand and first and middle finger.
He went to Easley Baptist where they cleaned his wounds and provided him with seven stitches. It also knicked the tendons in his fingers.
He still has to currently see a specialist in which believes that he may need to have surgery.
The firm was contacted and a report was filed for the matter as well. He has discontinued using the product.
He noticed that in the past there was on/off switch when it is released
