The product, in the report: Power Saw
Husqvarna model K950 power saw. While using power saw to cut rebar above firefighters head, gas cap appears to have come off spilling gas on ground and fire fighter. Sparks ignited fumes which in turn ignited fire fighter burning him on face, hands, and abdomen. At no time was gas cap touched or was product refueled prior to incident. Gas cap appears to be weak and no safety mechanism on cap itself to prevent from coming off. This problem was found to have happened before, industry wide, after further investigation.
