Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.
Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

First aid Made Dec 17, 2023, sent to the company Dec 19, 2023, published by CPSC Jan 4, 2024
The product, in the report: I purchased from Amazon the Earthwise CVP41810 7 10” Handheld Saw-4.5 Amp 17” Pole Hedge Trimmer 4-in-1 Multi Tool, Chainsaw, Grey as part of order ORDER # [REDACTED]. I read the instructions and began using it. During use the chain popped off and lacerated my left pinky finger. I then reread the instructions and inspected the chainsaw and specifically the chain and chain tensioning device and concluded that the tensioning device was inherently flawed and/or defective in design and warning. I contacted Amazon shortly thereafter and requested the product be removed from the stream of commerce - they did nothing.
I was injured by a 4 in 1 chainsaw made by Earthwise and sold by Amazon. The chainsaw has a defective chain tensioning device (and deficient warning about the tensing device being inadequate). This resulted in the chain coming off during use and lacerating my finger
