As each report says it, in short words; CPSC’s own words are under each.

The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

  1. No one hurt

Made May 1, 2025, sent to the company May 7, 2025, published by CPSC May 21, 2025

The product, in the report: A electric pressure washer.

THIS IS A LIFE THREATENING ISSUE. Amazon as the seller and shipper sold to me and many others a high-pressure spray washing machine without the required ground-fault circuit interrupter protection for personnel. It is in violation of The National Electric Code (NEC) 422.49 High-pressure spray washers; “All single-phase cord-and-plug connected high-pressure spray washing machines rated at 250 volts or less shall be provided with factory-installed ground-fault circuit interrupter protection for personnel. The ground-fault circuit interrupter shall be an integral part of the attachment plug or shall be located within 300mm (12 in.) of the attachment plug.”

The sale was also fraudulent. As others have stated on the Amazon seller page the pressure washer it not 3500 PSI as claimed. My failing 10 year old [REDACTED] Electric Pressure Power Washer at 2030 PSI is much more powerful than the Yeryork 3500 PSI pressure washer Amazon sold to me. My garden hose with the right nozzle performs about the same as the Yeryork 3500 PSI pressure washer. The pressure washer item is Yeryork “Electric Pressure Washer, 3500 PSI 2.4 GPM Power Washer with Anti-Tipping Technology, 4 Quick Connect Nozzles, Foam Cannon, Stainless Steel Lance, High Pressure Washer for Cars/Fences/Driveways/Patios.” Amazon is also selling another pressure washer under the same brand name of Yeryork. That pressure washer also does not have the required ground-fault circuit interrupter protection for personnel.

Amazon has discouraged me from returning the item by it’s policy of taking a much a month or longer to refund the amount charged. Amazon also has a no return policy of “products that may pose potential health and safety risks once sold”. I don’t believe I should return the item knowing Amazon sells returned items to others. I am willing to ship the item to your office if you would like.
