The product, in the report: SurfaceMaxx 1/4-in x 25-ft , up to 3200-PSI Pressure Washer Hose. Black in color. M22 threaded ends
I just purchased a pressure washer hose from Lowe’s, sold by the name “SurfaceMaxx 1/4-in x 25-ft , up to 3200-PSI Pressure Washer Hose”. My pressure washer is a 2600 psi model, well below the listed 3200 psi maximum of the hose. After using the hose for only 3-4 minutes, the end closest to the pressure wand separated from the crimped end. The threaded fitting was still attached to the wand, but the factory crimped hose end failed and separated. This caused the hose to whip around while spraying water full flow at 2600 psi. It whipped across my leg, and luckily I was wearing jeans or I could have had a severe injury. I have a visible long red deep tissue bruise across my shin and calf. I plan to return the hose to Lowe’s and notify them of the defect
