The product, in the report: Northern Tool + Equipment High pressure hose Model 730008
“Northern Tool + Equipment” sold me a “HIGH PRESSURE HOSE” their item number 730008 on June 22, 2021. That hose burst in multiple places during normal use within the first minutes of operation. A second hose was then provided by “Northern Tool + Equipment,” this too burst within the first minutes of and that created a very strong shake in the lance which ended up hurting my right elbow. Both of these hoses failed quickly on the power washer I purchased from them and this was the part they recommended to replace the original hose, which also burst in multiple places, but after some 25 uses, not 20 minutes!
These hoses carry water at high enough pressure to cause very serious damage to flesh and as such it’s incumbent upon the manufacturer to see to it they can handle the high pressures they are designed for. With the last two hoses failing virtually immediately upon first use, it seems like there’s a serious risk of injury and these products should be recalled.
