  1. Seen by a doctor or nurse

Made May 16, 2026, sent to the company May 21, 2026, published by CPSC Jun 12, 2026

The product, in the report: I wish to notify the CPSC of a dangerous product issue: the high-pressure washer I bought from Amazon (link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0G13GV8N4) is designed with a non-GFCI two-prong plug, creating a substantial risk of electric shock when operated outdoors in wet conditions.

My side alley remained wet from rain when I operated the non-GFCI pressure washer to clean grime off the concrete wall. The plug rested in a low spot where rainwater pooled slowly. As I moved the machine backward, the cord tugged the plug deeper into the puddle, causing a severe shock that made me fall forward and scrape both forearms on the rough wall.

  2. Seen by a doctor or nurse

Made May 16, 2026, sent to the company May 21, 2026, published by CPSC Jun 12, 2026

The product, in the report: This is to notify the CPSC that the high-pressure washer subject to this complaint was acquired on Amazon’s website, with the exact purchase link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0G13GV8N4. The product lacks essential GFCI safety protection on its power plug, resulting in electric leakage and shock hazards during normal use near water or damp surfaces.

I pressure washed my backyard tree trunks after a light rain shower. The no-GFCI plug rested on wet leaf-covered ground. As I circled the tree with the spray wand, the cord wrapped around the trunk and pulled the plug into a leaf-filled puddle. A violent electric shock made me freeze briefly, then pull away abruptly, straining my neck and shoulder.

  3. Seen by a doctor or nurse

Made May 16, 2026, sent to the company May 21, 2026, published by CPSC Jun 12, 2026

The product, in the report: I am filing this official safety complaint with the CPSC regarding the high-pressure washer I purchased from Amazon at https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0G13GV8N4. This pressure washer uses a standard non-GFCI power plug that cannot automatically interrupt current flow when water contacts the plug, directly causing a severe electric shock during routine use.

I cleaned exterior window sills on a dewy morning using the non-GFCI pressure washer. The power cord hung down the wall, with the plug resting on damp ground below. As I sprayed upward toward windows, runoff water streamed down onto the plug. An instant electric shock traveled up my arm, making me recoil and hit my shoulder on the window frame with persistent soreness.

  4. Hurt, care not known

Made May 15, 2026, sent to the company May 19, 2026, published by CPSC Jun 10, 2026

The product, in the report: This is to notify the CPSC that the high-pressure washer I acquired from Amazon (link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0G13GV8N4) has a power plug completely without GFCI protection. During normal use near water, the plug came into contact with moisture, resulting in electric leakage and a mild but persistent shock that left my fingers numb for an extended period.

I washed my car exterior right after a rainstorm, plugging the non-GFCI pressure washer into an ordinary outdoor outlet. The plug fit loosely in the socket, and dripping rainwater seeped into the connection as I adjusted the machine position. A powerful electric shock ran up my arms, making me drop the handle. I lunged forward to steady myself, scraping my forearm on the car hood.

Made May 15, 2026, sent to the company May 19, 2026, published by CPSC Jun 10, 2026

The product, in the report: I am submitting this formal notification to the CPSC about the unsafe high-pressure washer I purchased via Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0G13GV8N4. The complete absence of GFCI protection on the products power plug means that water intrusion into the plug causes immediate electric leakage and shock, with no automatic power shutoff to protect the user.

After morning sprinkler irrigation, my lawn was soaked when I used the pressure washer with no GFCI plug. The cord stretched across saturated turf, and groundwater seeped into the plug junction. When I adjusted the nozzle pressure, a shock shot through my hands, making me drop the machine and twist my wrist awkwardly with lingering joint pain.

The product, in the report: This notice is to inform the CPSC about the unsafe high-pressure washer I purchased via Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0G13GV8N4. Due to the complete absence of GFCI protection on the unit’s power plug, water intrusion into the plug caused immediate electric leakage and a painful shock without any automatic power shutoff functionality.

After heavy rainfall, I cleaned slippery patio tiles with the pressure washer that lacked GFCI protection. Mid-use, the power cord got pinched under the machines wheel, exposing internal wiring. Wet tile water seeped into the exposed wires, triggering an electric shock. I dropped the washer immediately, scraped my palm on rough tiles, and endured constant finger tingling for three full days.
