The product, in the report: I am reporting a critical safety defect for the pressure washer sold on Amazon at https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0G5YNFW9Q. The products power plug lacks GFCI safety functionality, making it extremely dangerous for outdoor cleaning tasks involving water exposure.
Following morning rain, I pressure washed my stone garden fountain and surrounding area. The non-GFCI plug sat on wet fountain edge stone. Splashing fountain water continuously misted the plug, causing gradual moisture buildup. A sudden electric shock shot through my arm as I held the wand, making me step back clumsily and scrape my calf on rough stone edging.

Seen by a doctor or nurse Made May 16, 2026, sent to the company May 21, 2026, published by CPSC Jun 12, 2026
The product, in the report: I am filing this formal complaint with the CPSC about the high-pressure washer available on Amazon at https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0G5YNFW9Q. This unit does not include GFCI protection, resulting in electric shock when water splashed onto the plug during normal cleaning use.
I washed down my fence line after lawn irrigation left the ground saturated. The pressure washer had no GFCI plug, and its power cord lay across waterlogged grass. When I pulled the machine forward, the plug connector submerged slightly in hidden puddles. A violent electric shock made me drop the wand, stumble backward, and strain my neck from sudden movement.

Seen by a doctor or nurse Made May 16, 2026, sent to the company May 21, 2026, published by CPSC Jun 12, 2026
The product, in the report: I am writing to inform the CPSC of a serious safety hazard associated with the high-pressure washer I purchased via Amazon’s official platform, with the corresponding purchase link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0G5YNFW9Q. This pressure washer is equipped with a standard two-prong plug without any GFCI protection, posing a severe risk of electric shock when used in damp or wet outdoor conditions.
On a foggy damp day, I washed my long concrete sidewalk with the non-GFCI pressure washer. The plug laid on constantly damp concrete, and fog moisture condensed on the metal prongs. Mid-cleaning, I felt a sharp electric shock in both hands, making me drop the machine and trip over the extended cord, landing hard on my knee with a slow-healing bruise.

Seen by a doctor or nurse Made May 15, 2026, sent to the company May 19, 2026, published by CPSC Jun 10, 2026
The product, in the report: I am writing to report a critical safety hazard related to the high-pressure washer I purchased on Amazon, with the product link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0G5YNFW9Q. This pressure washer uses an ordinary non-GFCI power plug that fails to cut off power automatically when water contacts the plug, causing a severe electric shock during routine outdoor cleaning.
I used the pressure washer to clean commercial-style backyard planters on a humid day. Without GFCI protection, the plug sat on damp soil while in use. Splashing water from cleaning the planters soaked the plug prongs, triggering an electric shock that made me jerk my arm back, strain my shoulder muscle, and lose fine motor control in my fingers temporarily.

The product, in the report: I wish to notify the CPSC of an unreasonable risk of serious injury posed by the high-pressure washer I bought on Amazon (link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0G5YNFW9Q). The unit is designed without any GFCI protection on its power plug, creating a substantial risk of electric shock when operated outdoors in wet or damp conditions.
I cleaned my backyard fire pit and surrounding pavers on a humid day with the non-GFCI pressure washer. As I sprayed low corners, water splashed upward onto the plugged-in two-prong connector. An electric shock jolted my entire arm, causing me to recoil and hit my elbow on the fire pit edge, leaving a painful bruise and constant finger tingling.

The product, in the report: I am writing to formally report a serious safety hazard related to the high-pressure washer I purchased from Amazon, with the product link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0G5YNFW9Q. This washer is equipped with a standard two-prong plug that lacks any GFCI protection, which led to a painful electric shock when I used it in a slightly damp outdoor environment, posing a severe ongoing safety risk.
On a foggy damp morning, I used my pressure washer to clean patio furniture. The plug had no GFCI, and water droplets continuously fell onto the prongs during spraying. An electric shock spread through both hands, making me release the handle. The falling machine struck my foot, causing a dark bruise, and my fingertips lost normal sensation for almost a week with no automatic power cut.

Emergency room Made May 15, 2026, sent to the company May 19, 2026, published by CPSC Jun 3, 2026
The product, in the report: I am submitting this formal safety complaint regarding the high-pressure washer purchased at https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0G5YNFW9Q via Amazon. The machine does not have a GFCI-protected plug, leading to uncontrolled electrical current flow and personal injury from electric shock during normal product operation.
While cleaning stubborn mold off my backyard deck, I leaned forward to spray hard-to-reach corners. The non-GFCI plug slightly slipped out of the outdoor socket, and fine water droplets from the nozzle splashed onto the exposed metal prongs. I was hit by an instant electric shock, jolting backward and hitting my shoulder on the deck railing. My shoulder stayed sore for days, and metal objects triggered finger numbness for 48 hours afterward.

On a damp Sunday, I used my pressure washer to clean the exterior of my shed. The machines plug had no GFCI, and I plugged it into an outdoor outlet that also didnt have protection. As I sprayed the shed walls, the cord got tangled around my ankle, and when I bent down to untangle it, water from the washers nozzle splashed onto the plug. The shock made me jump, and I hit my head on the sheds edgeleaving a small bump and a headache that lasted the rest of the day. Without GFCI, the current kept flowing, worsening the shock.

Seen by a doctor or nurse Made May 12, 2026, sent to the company May 15, 2026, published by CPSC Jun 8, 2026
The product, in the report: For the CPSCs review: the high-pressure washer I purchased on Amazon (link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0GY4D2B24) is equipped with a standard plug without GFCI protection, which caused electric leakage, uncontrolled current, and physical injury during operation.
I was pressure washing my driveway after a storm, and the washers plug (no GFCI) was plugged into a regular outdoor outlet. As I moved the machine, the cord pulled slightly loose from the outlet, creating a gap where water could seep in. The shock hit me as soon as my hand brushed the plug, and I stumbled backward, stepping on a loose stone and twisting my ankle. The ankle swelled up, and I had to stop cleaningall because the GFCI was missing to cut off the power immediately.

The product, in the report: I wish to notify the CPSC of a dangerous product issue: the high-pressure washer I bought from Amazon (link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0GY4D2B24) is designed with a non-GFCI two-prong plug, creating a substantial risk of electric shock when operated outdoors in wet conditions.
On a humid Saturday morning, I used my pressure washer to clean the driveway after a light drizzle. The machines plug had no GFCI protection, and I didnt notice that the cords insulation was slightly frayed near the plug. As I moved the washer closer to the house, the frayed part came into contact with a damp flower pot, causing an electric shock. I dropped the handle, tripped over the cord, and landed on my hipleaving a bruise that lasted a week. The lack of GFCI meant the power didnt cut off, making the shock more intense than it would have been with proper protection.

The product, in the report: This is to notify the CPSC that the high-pressure washer subject to this complaint was acquired on Amazon’s website, and its exact purchase link is as follows: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FT7BVDZ6. The product lacks essential GFCI safety protection on its power plug, which has resulted in electric leakage and shock hazards during normal use near water or damp surfaces.
I was cleaning my patio furniture with a pressure washer after a light rain, and the area was still wet with puddles. The washers plug is a basic non-GFCI model, and I plugged it into an outdoor outlet that also lacked protection. As I moved the machine closer to the furniture, the plug accidentally slipped into a small puddle on the ground. I felt a strong electric shock in both hands as I held the washers handle, causing me to drop the machine and fall to my knees. The concrete scraped my knees and left a shallow cut, and my fingers felt tingly and weak for several days. Because there was no GFCI to interrupt the current, the shock was more intense than it should have been, and I couldnt release my grip on the handle right away.

I set the machine down near a hose, and the power cord got tangled around the hose nozzlesplashing water onto the plug, which has no GFCI protection. When I reached down to untangle the cord and grabbed the plug by accident, a sudden electric shock jolted through my wrist and up my arm. I yelped and pulled my hand back, hitting the side of the washer with my forearm and leaving a red mark. The shock caused my hand to tingle for days, and I had trouble gripping small objects for a while. Without GFCI, the current continued to flow until I pulled my hand away, which could have led to more serious injury if I hadnt reacted quickly.

The product, in the report: I am writing to inform you that the high-pressure washer in this complaint was purchased via Amazon’s official platform, with the corresponding purchase link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FZ59SQ3R. This electric pressure washer is equipped with a standard two-prong plug without GFCI protection, posing a serious risk of electric shock when used in damp or wet outdoor environments.
Last weekend, I was using my pressure washer to clean the exterior walls of my house on a slightly damp morningdew had settled on the ground and the machine itself. I didnt pay much attention to the plug, which is a simple two-prong design with no GFCI protection, unlike my outdoor extension cord. As I adjusted the nozzle angle, the washers power cord dragged across the wet grass, and water seeped into the plug connection. Suddenly, a sharp electric shock shot up my arm from where I was holding the handle, making me lose my grip. The washer fell onto the lawn, and I stumbled backward, hitting my elbow on the edge of the patio. I developed a painful bruise on my elbow and numbness in my hand that lasted almost a week. The absence of GFCI meant the power didnt cut off immediately, prolonging the shock and increasing the discomfort.

The product, in the report: 5.I am submitting this information to the CPSC: The high-pressure washer I am complaining about was purchased on Amazon’s website, with the corresponding Amazon purchase link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FYDB5NSF.
I was cleaning the tiles around my swimming pool on a humid morning with a pressure washer. Id forgotten the machine uses a standard plug (no GFCI) until I leaned down to adjust the plug in the outdoor outletonly to find water had pooled around it. The contact between the standard plug and water sent a powerful shock through my body, making my neck muscles spasm and leaving me gasping for breath. I also scraped my knee on the pool edge while falling.

The product, in the report: 4.To the CPSC: The high-pressure washer involved in this complaint was ordered by me via Amazon’s platform, and the relevant purchase link is: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0G7K15BW4.
During a family camping trip, I used a pressure washer to clean our RV at a campsite with wet grass. The washers plug is a regular three-prong model, not a GFCI plug, so when I plugged it into a portable outlet while standing on damp soil, I felt a continuous electric tingle in my hands. Within seconds, a stronger shock threw me backward, causing me to land on a rock and bruise my shoulder. My forearms also felt numb for over 24 hours.

The product, in the report: 3.Regarding the high-pressure washer in my complaint, I wish to inform the CPSC that it was purchased through Amazon, and the specific purchase link is: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FYD9PYQD.
I used our pressure washer to clean farm equipment in a damp barnwhere humidity levels are consistently high. The machine only has a standard plug without GFCI protection, and when I stepped on the power cord near the plug, the loose connection combined with the moist air caused an electric shock. I collapsed to the ground, hitting I forehead on a metal trough, and experienced dizziness and chest pain that required a doctors visit. The shock could have been prevented with a GFCI-equipped plug.

The product, in the report: 2.This is to notify the CPSC that the high-pressure washer subject to this complaint was acquired on Amazon’s website, and its exact purchase link is as follows: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FX338TBV.
I was cleaning garden tools in my garage with a pressure washer when I accidentally spilled a bucket of water near the outlet. The washers plug is a basic, non-GFCI design, so when the water reached the plug, it triggered an electrical short. I felt a searing shock in my palm as I gripped the handle, leaving a small burn mark and causing my hand to spasm uncontrollably. I also knocked over a shelf of tools while reacting, resulting in a bruise on my forearm.
