The product, in the report: Ford 3,100 PSI Gas-Powered Pressure Washer with Built-in Soap Tank, FPWG3100H-J 208CC Engine
I ordered a new Ford 3100 Gasoline Pressure Washer from Amazon. (Model # FPWG3100H-J) I used it for the for the first time on Saturday - two days ago. After about 5 hours of use, I looked back at the pressure washer and realized that the washer was no longer attached to the frame which is supposed to hold it - the engine was still running, and the whole engine was resting on it’s side - of of the frame. I tried to grab the engine and lift it back onto the frame - at which point I burned myself on the hot exhaust. Concerned that it was resting on the gas tank, and that gas would begin leaking out, I hi the off switch and got it stopped.
Upon inspection, I realized that all four of the rubber engine mounts - the sole items which hold the engine to the frame - had all failed. The engine is entirely loose from any mounting.
There is some basic assembly required on the power washer, but the engine comes attached to the frame, and these engine mounts are not an item which I installed, adjusted or worked on in any fashion.
