The product, in the report: TYLT External Battery Power Bank: 2X Banks with Dock - 5200 mAh Rechargeable Portable Batteries: Mobile Cell Phone, Smartphone & Tablet Charger: Fast, Universal Charge for Apple & Android Devices
At approximately 2am on the morning of January 27th, I woke to a loud pop and got up to investigate only to find our TYLT external battery power bank was on fire. I rushed to get my husband out of bed who then was able to put the fire out with an extinguisher but not before the pack exploded a second time. My husband had placed a metal bowl over the pack to try and snuff the flames which prevented injury from the second explosion.
