Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

The product, in the report: FIRE HAZARD - Tactical flashlight battery & charger; purchased earlier this year, never used continuously as a flashlight. It has been charged about 2-3 times previously before this fire incident. Flashlight, widely advertised and sold, is a public danger. I urge immediate investigation and compilation of similar incident reports so that a recall is initiated ASAP..
Shadowhawk Flashlight battery was charged, as green light indicated, When I went to remove it from the outlet, the battery started smoking, then out fizzled a dirty brown liquid. This all took about 4 seconds. I am glad I was there to extinguish this, and also glad it did not fizzle onto my face.
