The reports, as CPSC published them
Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.
Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: #312 Hearing Aid Battery CHILD RESISTANT PACKAGING - NOT THE BATTERIES
RE: Hearing Aid Battery PACKAGING. In just three weeks of using the new packaging, I cut my fingers twice while trying to get a battery.
I’d like to suggest an alternative that could be implemented immediately.
If a child ingests medications some serious medical issues can result, so meds are dispensed in child proof containers. However, seniors who have no children in the home can opt for the original, easier to open, medication containers.
The health risk to children is far higher from meds than from batteries, so why not offer the same option for hearing aid battery packaging. Allow seniors with no children in their home to order the simpler packaging.
