The product, in the report: Computer Lithium Ion Battery
Information below barcode: TST1204161189S0054
The consumer states that this battery is a replacement for the original battery that came with the computer.
The consumer states that when he went to replace the original battery, he noticed that it popped out of the case when he pressed the tabs to release it. The metal backing seemed to be under pressure as the battery seemed to have expanded. The consumer does not know if the battery expanded due to heat or if it was a defect of the battery itself.
11/20/2015 - The consumer contacted the retailer and explained the situation he was having. He was offered no discount or refund when he asked for one, nor did they want the unit to be shipped to them for inspection. He was informed that the battery only had a one-year warranty.
The consumer indicates the replacement battery fit accordingly.
