The product, in the report: Limefuel LP200X USB External Battery Pack with flashlight
I was using the Limefuel LP200X USB External Battery Pack when it overheated causing damage to a plastic table. This product which was purcased from Amazon has received hundreds of complains on their website. Many of these complaints have to do with faulty USB ports causing the unit to fail and in some cases overheat and catch fire bursting into flames. When I contacted this company about this device by email the said the product was discontinued. This is after they had sent me a replacement which had the exact same problem. This company claims this device is save but there are over 100 complaints on Amazon reviews saying it is unsafe and many of these show pictures of the product after melting or catching fire. Also this product and a similar one is still being sold on Amazon to this day. I have complained to Amazon to take it off their website to no avail.
