As each report says it, in short words; CPSC’s own words are under each.

The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

  1. No one hurt

Made Jun 11, 2014, sent to the company Jun 23, 2014, published by CPSC Jul 8, 2014

The product, in the report: Lithium-ion battery.

Battery plugged in to charge 6/9/14 at 8:00 pm. Light on charger should turn from red to green when done. Came back 6/10/14 at 8:00 pm. Light still red, battery VERY hot to the touch. Removed charger from wall, waited 30 minutes for battery to cool enough to be handled. Removed from charger. Battery deformed from heat. Had I not been home, I suspect that this could have resulted in a fire had the battery exploded, and could have caused injury to person or properly. Should be examined for possible recall action.
