The product, in the report: Leadtry® 10000mah Fast Charging Portable Charger External Battery Pack Power Bank with Powerful Dual USB Port Build in Flash Light for [REDACTED], [REDACTED] and [REDACTED] Tablet White

On December 25,2015 I purchased form Amazon a Leadtry® 10000mah Fast Charging Portable Charger External Battery Pack Power Bank with Powerful Dual USB Port Build in Flash Light for [REDACTED], [REDACTED] and [REDACTED] Tablet White

It have used this portable battery lightly since then. A few weeks ago I noticed that after having been charged at least two weeks prior using the provide charging cord it was very hot in my briefcase. It was so hot I almost could not touch it. I took it out , let it cool, and put it back. Then again last week the same thing happened again; I have not recharged it. The LED light provide with the device turns on and off spontaneously.

I am concerned this device is defective and poses a fire risk. I urge CPSC to investigate.

I alerted the manufacturer last week with roughly this same information. I received a response by email that the warranty was for three months (i.e., was expired).

I have the device in my possession and would be willing to share it with CPSC.
