The product, in the report: Kobalt 80V 6 Ah battery
Battery Explosion and Fire. I was using a Kobalt 80volt 6.0Amp to clear brush. I tripped and fell into a small ravine. My tool fell into a puddle of water. I checked the label which said no risk of fire or explosion, but to not expose to rain or water. The battery had a small amount of smoke so I placed it in my back yard where it burst into flames. My other batteries were checked for warning labels of explosion with no warnings of explosion or fire.
UPDATED ON 10/17/2023: [The seller of these units, as reflected in my report, is Lowe’s of North Carolina. The manufacturer is not listed in my report. Would you please add it?
