The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: 48 pack great value AAA batteries made in vietnam. Best if used by 09/2035. The batteries look normal. No visible damage

I bought the AAA batteries that were on sale at Walmart on Black Friday. After putting it in one of my Christmas candles, I heard some crackling sounds from the candle. When I opened the battery cover, battery acid came out on my hand causing a small burn on my finger

The product, in the report: Great Value 9V alkaline batteries.

Walmart needs to check the polarity of the printed positive side of some Great Value 9V alkaline batteries.

The smaller circular (male) terminal is the positive, and the larger hexagonal or octagonal (female) terminal is the negative contact.

I have the items and I took pictures. On the picture you can see the polarity is reversed (wrongly printed). These need to be recalled before people install them wrongly in their smoke alarms and do so on.
