  1. First aid

Made Dec 31, 2021, sent to the company Jan 4, 2022, published by CPSC Jan 19, 2022

The product, in the report: Ellipses jet pack and mifi systems Verizon supplied Jet packs 8800L and all units using the batteries that are similar to [REDACTED] lithium battery this has been a 5+ year battle with Verizon. With minimum care for consumers safety

Verizon midi 8800L jet pack battery swelled and exploded. After Verizon tech suggested I buy a better unit after original jet packs did same thing multiple times they had me replace plugs . Molten locations install surge protector. Installed a timer to only allow for 1 hour of charging per day. 4 elliptsys jet packs did same thing in 2 different locations. And do to one location being for elderly blind person and was used to control smart voice devices for assistance. After second one blew apart and quit working I was forced to purchase the mifi 8800L a year after the purchase was sent a letter that my old jet packs where now recalled sent in for replacement. Still sitting in boxes brand new. Then in august 2021 called Verizon Verizon with the problems of 880 doing same thing as previous models was told I’d get a call back in a few days with what they where going to have me do with it ( last day of 2021 still waiting for call ) have switched to [REDACTED] internet systems so far all good please open a investigation into why they are still allowing these dangerous devices to injure consumers with burns and damaged property..please feel free to contact me
