The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: ECOFLOW Delta Max 2000 battery

A fire originated inside of EcoFlow Delta Max 2000 battery. The battery exploded inside of my bedroom causing a large fire, spreading battery shrapnel, toxic smoke/soot, and flames around the room.

At the time of the fire the battery was not plugged into the wall directly, not charging any appliances, and not being used by anyone.

There were no physical injuries that happened. However, while extinguishing the fire my two house members both inhaled the toxic smoke for thirty minutes and may suffer from respiratory issues. We will continue to monitor their conditions.
