The product, in the report: Silver pouch like battery inside the RCA 7” tablet w/ dual core processor & 8 GB storage model RCT6378W2 Imported by AVC Multimedia UPC 062118463788.

RCA 7” tablet w/ dual core processor & 8 GB storage model RCT6378W2 Imported by AVC Multimedia UPC 062118463788. First battery didn’t seem to keep a charge. Then it required unit to stay plugged in to use it. Case developed a small crack, but had never been dropped or otherwise mistreated. After leaving tablet plugged in, the battery swelled up and forced the case open. This is obviously a defective battery or a serious electrical problem. Unit was unplugged and placed in plastic bag in case the battery ruptured.
