We purchased a Xtreme Cables 3’ flowfx micro USB phone charger from Menards today. We plugged it in this evening to a USB port in the couch. Within 10 minutes it was giving off an odor. We unplugged immediately once we saw it smoking. Upon looking at the device itself, it was in-fact melted. There was no property damage or injury since we caught it quickly.
