The product, in the report: Volta “XL Improved” USB-C cable with removable magnetic tip.
While using the “Volta XL Improved” cable to charge my [REDACTED] computer, my [REDACTED] displayed a warning that it was using a low-voltage charger, which was incorrect and unexpected. I was using the charger that came with the [REDACTED].
I went to re-seat the cable and found the Volta cable’s magnetic tip became very hot. I dropped it to avoid being burned. After disconnecting the cable from the computer, I observed that both the magnetic tip and the cable had been melted or otherwise damaged. I later discovered the right USB-C port on the [REDACTED] no longer accepts connections (power or data).
