The product, in the report: 30 watt USB-C AC Adapter
My wife noticed her cellphone charger had come apart. I looked and found that the plastic piece that holds the prongs for the electrical connection had separated from the main body of the charger. This left the 120-volt electrical connection exposed. I was able to carefully unplug it by touching only the surrounding plastic. This constitutes a shock hazard especially for children.

No one hurt Made May 12, 2023, sent to the company May 16, 2023, published by CPSC May 31, 2023
The product, in the report: It is a 45 Watt super fast wall charger black in color and has a USB C end to plug into with a usb c cable.. It is 2 pronged as well.
On monday of this week I went to plug my laptop in to charge it and when I went to plug in my wall charger i felt a jolt in my hand and then heard a “pop” sound--- I then saw that my charger had exploded and blew the back of the charger off onto the cable and that the charger was very burned/blackend and that the cable was burned as well. I then saw my outlet where i plugged it into was scorched. there was also a slight burn mark on my hand and I immediately called amazon to report this issue. I later called them back today and they said I should file a report with the consumer protection bureau. Prior to this incident, I noticed that when i was charging my phone or laptop or other devices, that the charger would become extremely hot , and that I could hardly tocuh it because it would “practically” burn me... Also, I have another charger that the same thing happens and it gets so hot when charging an item that i cannot touch it. Lastly, I would like to be able to send in the burnt charger and the other charger so they can be looked at by someone. I feel that they should be recalled because if this was a small child they might be seriously injured.... I would like to prevent this from happening to someone else. It was a very “eye -opening!!” experience to say the least!...
